The infamous N word is commonly thought of ,mumbled under our breaths and occasionally used.
You cannot tell me no one has never thought of the word,heard it used or say it themselves. it's world wide.
Movie " Blackboard Jungle" in 1955 used it and it was never censored. Calamity Jane used it in the beginning of the film referencing Native Americans.
So I see no controversy in this story. it's a "so what ?"

What a stupid suggestion. You're the only one contemplating that, but it speaks volumes to his character and his own values that he'd tolerate such opinions in a spouse.

She's quite free to have any opinion she wants; that's utterly irrelevant to the point.
