In truth, it will be a rather comedic spy vs. spy effort to bug the meeting rooms by the Russian intelligence services, the CIA & who knows who else. This meeting will not go unrecorded.

These private meetings Trump insists on holding with authoritarian despots are entirely inappropriate and contrary to US interests. Two ruthless corrupt unscrupulous asshats go into a room alone and we expect something good to come out of it! Wake up!

Russia has nothing to offer. Now that Putin's intentions are entirely known a real US President would just throw dirt on their coffin now that Putin's intentions are entirely known. We probably should have been throwing dirt on their coffin from the death of the Soviet Union on. They have nothing, have never had anything and have less than nothing in a world economy. Russia is a joke of an economy on life support, only existing now because they finally 5 decades late, can get fossil fuels to market. But they have too many people (about 130m) living off an economy that is not diverse nor healthy, entirely corrupt and entirely focused on the only thing they have, fossil fuels. Trump plays footsies with them for his own purposes which may include Putin having a rope tied around his balls.

Well, he's The Man. He's in charge and if his administration is so dysfunctional that he has to hide things from them it's on him.
