in the past, Democrat politicians have used the IRS to harass the NRA. Gun control is mainly advanced to harass the NRA and GOP leaning pro gun voters as well

You do know that when Meuller ends, Trump begins. There is nothing there but high level democrat misdeeds and low level Trump associates. Trump is going to clean out the "justice" department, and the replacements are going to be appointing about a dozen Special Fishermen to go after Obama on down to Lois Learner. You want eternal investigations in to your party hacks irrelevant pasts, you are going to get it.

And yes, you can impeach a former president and others who are out of office.

And just to rub it in, I hope he leave Hillary alone.

BTW why is Nancy Pelosi worth 152 million on a House members salary? A Special Fisherman may have a few questions to ask her. There are few San Franciscans wealthy enough not to cut a deal with a Special Fisherman.

Who told Mueller to investigate corruption? And if someone did tell him to do that, wouldn't it be better if he investigated Congress? Or the Obama administration? Or Hillary?

Obama and Hillary have been investigation ad nauseum. Curious how the GOP congress closed these investigations after the 2016 elections. Could it be that the only reason congress investigated HRC and held hearings was to try to sabotage HRC's presidential chances?

For those that missed it, the NRA's ties to Russia are old news. Russia definitely worked the NRA. Whether the NRA knew what was going on, or were willfully engaged in crimes with them, is not alleged. They do have to investigate it to ensure that while for sure Russian operatives worked the NRA, put money in, wooed them, targeted, them, etc., that the NRA either didn't know or didn't really help.

It's the narrative. They have to spin the narrative. This is what they do. Doesn't matter if all of this is routine, doesn't matter if it's supported through previous links to Russian involvement and they have to investigate it to make sure that it's been accounted for. There is a narrative to push, and push it they will. They have to, their fundamental defense and conspiracy theories depend upon this narrative.

Hard to say-a guy I went to college with-and knew in HS was a big Democrat activist. even in HS. he later came out as gay (sadly he lost his sight as a student at Harvard Law-was an activist for Gays, Democrats and the disabled). He always supported the NRA as a civil rights advocacy group

but I think you are mainly right -while there are plenty of liberals who own guns and might even oppose the party they normally vote with on guns, few support the NRA.

where you do have some of this are union members who vote dem because the dems appear more supportive of workers rights but are also NRA members. are these union members "liberals"? not on some issues-yes on others
