In Nevada the person running for Senate as a Republican owns not one, but several brothels. DO you think that Evangelicals in Nevada will vote for him? I think they will and will give him mulligans for ownership of the brothels.

They would vote for Satan. In fact, they already did in 2016.

They voted for Trump. Who daily breaks one commandment. He lies daily. And in his lifetime has broken at least five or six other ones and has admitted that he has never ever ask God for forgiveness. So to answer your question, yes they will vote for a man who owns brothels. Or anyone who runs as a Republican.

Sure they will. Evangelicals are not what they pretend to be.

If you cast a vote for either Trump or Hillary you voted for Satan in 2016

I don't live in the distract so have no say. If I did it depends on the candidates stances and who lines up most with me. If it's a brothel owner so be it, if it's the other person fine.

Does Dean Heller own brothels?

Or is it a state senate race that you're talking about?

Yes. Yes they will. They don't have any reasons for what they do but they do have an excuse for everything they do.

That depends on the Evangelicals that live in a state were alcohol, gambling and prostitution 24/7 is allowed.
I don't know, but do you have a number for Evangelicals in Nevada? Are there a lot or just a few?

Sure they will. Evangelicals are not what they pretend to be.
Very well said.

It seems they've been found to be the Great Pretenders. I now see them as more cult, than religion. I'm shocked at how they're now corrupting scripture, to support their & Trump's bad intent.

Depends what the other options are, but probably.

And then of course there is THIS guy:

And they'll back-up that excuse with some corrupted interpretation of Holy Scripture! I now find them pretty despicable. There's no legit religious faction that could get to the point of backing what Trump did to those kids.

They could be heading down the path to Jim Jones territory, if they don't get wise. Being this niave and easily influenced, seems quite dangerous to me.

They dont agree with you about "their & Trumps bad intent", which you would know if you took the time/care to listen.

That first link is a great observation.

Remember, Evangelicals not only stood by Moore, they doubled down in their support for him! As I stated above, they really are striking me as being quite dangerous, as can be seen for their support for Moore. To be so easily led astray from ethics & morals by cultist religious figures, would seem to indicate one can be talked into just about anything in the name of religion when spoken by a charismatic speaker.

In fact, with this crowd they do consider Trump a God-sent leader. Go on Breitbart, and you'll see the article public-commenters claiming Trump is sent by God to do God's work. In fact it's a common refrain, and quite scary to see.

Some will, some won't. Stating that an entire demographic of people will do any one thing just because they are a member of a particular demographic is not a very safe action to take.

Now, as for what I think your thread and OP are getting at... yes, evangelical Christians are not immune from hypocrisy. Even extreme hypocrisy.

However, there's a story in the Bible about how the very first evangelical of what became the Christian religion (a guy named Jesus) at John 8 dealt with a situation on a similar topic.

Also, however, Matthew 7:1 seems to be ignored by many Christians of all stripes.

There are many evangelical Christians that live what they profess. There are, unfortunately, a large number of people that call themselves evangelical Christians that do not, just as there are Progressives that preach inclusion, yet exclude and condemn any people that don't believe exactly as they do - Evangelical Progressives we could call them because they seem to align similarly.

So to close my post I'll go right back to how I began it: Some will, some won't.

It's insane.

This guy was one of the people that Trump let speak and the opening of the Embassy in Jerusalem:

He quite literally believes that the holocaust was Hitler doing God's work. Let...that...sink...in...

dispensationalism was cooked up by a Scottish guy in the 1800's, but it's become the heart of the belief system of a lot of American fundamentalist Christians.

Well, they voted for a pedophile in Alabama. Maybe the brothel owner would be more popular with the evangelicals if the brothel owner trafficked children.

Yes, but maybe you should listen to what Trump says. The latest is that he doesn't care what the constitution says, he will kick them out of the country without due process. It is just another sign of what this man is like. He loves dictators because he wants to be like them. He wants everyone to sit up and listen when he talks just like the Korean dictator. Only those who belong to the Trump cult won't see what he is like, a fascist and a racist. But then maybe you already know that .

Yes.
