Progressive Democrats: Abolish ICE, Open the Border

We didn't have open borders before ICE. I'm not sure why you believe that we would have open borders if they were removed.

I suggest you review illegal immigration figures over time. There is no difference between declaring open borders and simply refusing to enforce the borders. You can't get a piece of paper between the two.

The goal of the left is crystal clear. More and more and more immigrants whether they can be absorbed or not, whether it is good for their constituents or not, whether it is good for public safety or not. None of it matters. It's about a shameless effort to get more future voters. It is all about POWER, the country be damned.

The problem is not who handles immigration enforcement.

The conversation this handful of candidates is raising is about literally that question. Bureaucratic culture is a big deal (does no one read Wilson anymore?) and DOJ vs DHS responsibility is about a lot more than a cosmetic name change. When children are being kept in cages there are legitimate questions about culture to be raised.

You're right about it being more than a name change, and returning the DOJ to a previously failed bureaucratic leadership role fixes nothing. It does speak of further miring the legal system down to the point of inaction, which is clearly the objective.

I don't have to imagine it; it's clear for all to see

Imagining something that isn't real that you don't want to discuss makes you feel good?

Good for you!

Don't let me interrupt. Carry on!
