I mean, they speak the same language, and from what I’m being told, there is far less crime in Mexico, their education and healthcare are better. And, by the way, they are far more virtuous than we.

Mexico doesn't want them, either.

The truth is, we all know why they choose America over Mexico. And who could blame them. But that doesnt mean they have the right to come here. There are videos all over the web of people like Schumer, Feinstein, Clinton and even Obama speaking out against illegal immigration because of the harm it did to the American worker in general and unions in particular. They no longer care about the American worker which explains why the lost states like Michigan, Pennsylvania and Ohio and why Hillary didnt even bother to campaign in Wisconsin. The rhetoric and position on illegal immigration from the left has done a 180, and working class Americans have taken notice. The left literally cares more about illegal immigrants than they do about Americans

Mexico has even more strict immigration policies than the US.
If they don't want you in the country, they will kick your ass right back out.

They sure don't give a rats ass about the American worker.

No way man. They're WAY more noble and virtuous than we.

With an age of consent at 12, barring certain jurisdictions and regulations.
I'll take the full force of that sarcasm in stride.

Nope. They just work in our businesses and do the crappy jobs we don't wanna do. :roll: If your dream is kicking out all illegal immigrants, you're going to wake up disappointed.

  • Perhaps you should put less value in what you've been told and put some effort of your own into reviewing credible sources that disclose how they came by their assessments. That way, if you suspect the results are "off," you can review the methodology, determine what material shortcomings it has (if any), and then discuss/critique the matter/methodology soundly/cogenty from a well informed perspective (aka discuss/critique "with portfolio") rather than abductively. (The fact that one can raise an objection, and in turn does so, does not make the objection one raises "hold water," and it certainly does not imbue one's objection with portfolio.)

Education, crime and between the U.S. and Mexico:

Frankly, a better suggestion, if upon education quality, crime rates (safety) and healthcare quality be on what one bases the decision where to direct immigrants upon their arrival in the U.S., it'd make more sense to suggest building a single entrance and single exit thruway running between Mexico and Canada instead of building a wall across the Southern border.

Orrin hatch was the first to try to eliminate the penalties for those who employ illegals weeks after they were passed by Reagan.

Republicans have fought doing this since it was first made illegal.

So I don't want to hear about what the left is or isn't doing while y'all ignore your side's refusal to enforce the law for decades.

Especially the blue collar worker.

Says a member of the union busting party.

But hey internal consistency isn't a strong suit with y'all.

Ya bitch about dems posisions on immigration while steadfastly ignoring your sides resistance to penalizing employers. From the beginning.

You admit the dems are against the blue collar worker.:lamo

Personally, I believe that unions have inflated the prices, degraded the workmanship, forced shops to demand full compliance with unions and dabbled in politics. IMO, not one of those things are good for the American consumer or worker.

You keep saying this. However, if the illegals weren't here illegally in the first place, their prospects for employment here would be somewhere around zero. I don't support employers who employ illegals, but essentially you're putting the job of law enforcement on the backs of employers rather than the government. Now, if the government was doing all it could to enforce immigration law, I could understand penalizing employers who circumvent government intentions, but as it stands we're nowhere near that state.

There seems to be a variance in the reported numbers between your link and the numbers reported by the PEW Research Center.

3 million refugees in 36 years is about 83,000 per year.

From your link:
<snip>
"After Mexico received 3,424 applications for refugee status in 2015, that rose to 8,794 the following year and applications are already outpacing that this year with 5,464 just from January to May."
<snip>

Key facts about refugees to the U.S. | Pew Research Center
<snip>
An executive order signed Jan. 27 by President Donald Trump suspends refugee admissions for 120 days while security procedures are reviewed, though the resettlement of persecuted religious minorities may continue during this time on a case-by-case basis.

Under the plan, the maximum number of refugees allowed into the U.S. in fiscal 2017 will likely decline from 110,000 to 50,000.

Separately, admission of Syrian refugees will be suspended pending a revision of security screening measures.

About 3 million refugees have been resettled in the U.S. since Congress passed the Refugee Act of 1980, which created the Federal Refugee Resettlement Program and the current national standard for the screening and admission of refugees into the country.

I should have written "more...are..." rather than "most....do" Apologies.

There are plenty of unskilled, uneducated legal immigrants here already. What benefit does importing more have for the American people?

EVERY time I watch what one of these sleazebag progressive/socialist politicians, whether local or national, they all say the same thing.
