First, I must dispute saying that this is "the Left" full stop. While there are plenty of horrible people on the political left who engage in this behavior or vocally (or silently) condone it, many condemn this behavior as well. So I do not believe it is correct, fair or truthful to say "This is the Left. Period."

As to the Peter Fonda issue specifically, I have said on two other threads regarding this same matter: The fact that a Hollywood Celebrity has fantasies about raping children and visiting violence upon women is not surprising to me in the least anymore. Mr. Fonda is a product of the culture that he is immediately surrounded by. Hollywood was largely built on the bodies of raped women and children and their victimizers and remains so to this day. Let us just call it what it is: Evil. Let us subject him to our loathing, scorn and obloquy and then let us move on.

The expression “the Left” does not refer to the common guy on the street who votes for the Democratic Party. It refers to the movement itself, which means those who are in charge and make its policies. When you say, “The Left is becoming extreme” you don’t mean Marge my cleaning lady. She can’t spell the word extreme.

The evil swine wished someone would visit on Trump's family what Trump is doing to thousands of brown families. The flaw in that plan is of course that Trump gives no ****s for anyone but himself

Seriously though, civil wars happen. They have to have their roots. Antifa and BLM are as good as any. If they grow too large the military will have to quash them.

Do you think the post deserves any serious discussion? I don't, it's just propaganda B.S. as usual. Most of these guys can't be serious, they essentially just push propaganda from their favorite sites, it's deplorable.

Sure the ethical gold rule is treat others as you'd have them treat you. Imagining someone's actions being visited on themselves is philosophy of ethics 101, a very basic but effective tool that many thinking adults routinely use to help eliminate their own bias. But do you see this poster ever engaging in serious reasoned debate, even a little? I don't, it looks like right wing re-tweeting. More smoke and noise as usual.

Even if you ignore what you said about the underlying reason Peter said that stuff, it's just an old, political activist actor saying stuff. Using that to broad-brush liberals as sickeningly depraved (his stupid words), and approaching civil war....I mean, there is a war going on already. Stupid + people who fall for it, and everyone else.
