Uranium 1 deal?

Mueller has also worked for the most prestigious law firm in the USA, from what I read. The law firm is probably where he made all of his money. I don't see a problem with his net worth, especially if he invested well. (Links: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Mueller and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wilmer_Cutler_Pickering_Hale_and_Dorr)

As for Uranium One, I've changed my opinion on how bad it was over time. There may have been some shadiness that took place, but uranium is actually a rather common element. It's really no big deal that the USA sold a decent chunk of it's uranium to Russia, as we can easily always get more.

Us getting more isn't the point, it's giving it to Russia. If it were all that common Russia would get it anywhere, no? May have been shady, come on, but whatever.

Who cares who we sell a common element to? You question if uranium is truly common, but it is. I actually didn't realize how common it was until I looked into it. Here's a link: Uranium Supplies: Supply of Uranium - World Nuclear Association

* Uranium is a relatively common metal, found in rocks and seawater. Economic concentrations of it are not uncommon.
* Its availability to supply world energy needs is great both geologically and because of the technology for its use.
* Quantities of mineral resources are greater than commonly perceived.
* The world's known uranium resources increased by at least one-quarter in the last decade due to increased mineral exploration.

IMO, this completely destroys the national security argument. Russia could get uranium elsewhere if the USA didn't sell Russia the uranium, but the minerals have to be explored and gathered. If Russia wants to buy a common element from the USA, let them. At least we're making the money, right? I'd rather that than another country or a company in Russia itself make the money. Like I said earlier, there still could've been bribery or something else shady going on, but in terms of national security, there really is no risk here. The USA isn't going to run out of uranium, and Russia would've been able to get a hold of the uranium anyways.

Maybe address the question posed in my OP. Don't try and deflect this to Trump.[/QUOinter
No deflect, the poster was simply pointing out the Rights hypocrisy with this hatchet thread. So looking forward to Muellers final report, as I am sure you are as well. As for Muellers finances, why your sudden interest, or should I say innuendo ? I call them like i see them. So please request Muellers tax returns, if you have probable cause.

Otherwise, sit down and shut up.

Robert Mueller Net Worth = $18 million. How is this possible for Director of FBI for approximate 12 years. The website finapp.co.in figured it out Mueller is making bank, with an approximate annual salary of $760,000. Ex-FBI boss James Comey was only earning a salary of $172,000.

From finapp.co.in

Robert Mueller Net Worth is $18 million dollars and earns an annual income of $2 million dollars. The Net Worth of Robert Mueller has seen a hike of 64% over the past few years. Robert Mueller is an American attorney who was the sixth Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

The website claims Mueller's network spiked 64% over the past few years. How is he doing it

Robert Mueller is 73 years old, he had a lifetime to invest with a good 15 years earning very good money on a salary. I am about 28 years younger than Mueller and have 8 times my salary as my net worth so being 20 times at age 73 should not be surprising.

As for his net worth increasing by 64% over the last few years, golly the Dow alone has more than double from 2010 ( ie over 100% return)

Imagine Trump supporters being concerned about peoples wealth and if it was ill gotten.

I do love how you just assume the number is not only wrong but half of what it states.

Considering that you assume uranium one conspiracy theory was something real. I really don't think you should be the one who is mocking my assumptions.

I did. I offered a different source that highlighted how he made his money and the source didn't say 18 Million. So I questioned where you got that number.

Oh, I can tell by the generally open, chipper and positive attitude that you express in your posts that you absolutely must be super successful...or at least make money. Worth is measured on many different levels. And hey, cadavers are a lucrative business...

I would have thought you might know that, but alas, sorely disappointed once again...such is life. :lamo :2wave:

As an aside, I would be hard put to care even less about how much you make than I currently do. It might be a mission impossible.

I make good money, I work at home, I just paid off my home. You are the one making stupid assumptions about my financial status given nothing but your ignorant postings.

Chill. Pretty defensive about absolutely nothing, bro.

Even the explicit I dont care and you still wanna pout, eh? My 4 br 2 bath house is also free and clear with a mountain view here in Panama that is simply gorgeous. I travel the world wherever I choose 4-6 months ( already been to Colombia a month, going to Peru and Boliva for a month and a half starting in July, from Oct to the new year traveling the US to see the change of leaves ) every year...

And get this, I dont work from home...because I am set for life, dont have to work at all anymore. I am very glad to be in my shoes, worked hard, earned it... and best of all I am appreciative of what I do have and am unconcerned with what others have. I mean, why be a dissatisfied liberal when I can be a very happy conservative.

Life is about choices. I made good ones. Yano?

Not defensive. You felt the need to go personal at the start, doesn't look good on you.

I travel the world for free whenever I choose, retired airline employee. We are looking at retiring to Costa Rica. We might go into Panama when we go back to CR this fall, I'll ask you about it when we go.

Would be glad to assist.

Part of why these positions are so lucrative is not that individuals who work in them receive a great salary from the work. However, they make connections and get information and know-how while on the job, so that later on, after their terms are up, they can turn those connections and that information and know-how into very lucrative consulting contracts for big businesses. For example, a company I used to work for (I was VP of Operations) hired an ex Florida Attorney General to help guide us through some deals we were trying to bring to fruition down there. For exactly four hours of work, he billed us nearly $100k. We had to pay it, because no one else could deliver what he could, and we needed it.

Ex FBI directors, especially ones with law degrees, likely have similar sources of income.

and another baseless smear bites the dust..

you'd think they'd learn.

We are thinking of going up the carribean coast of Costa Rica, starting south of Limon

I have only been up the western coast and central CR, starting back with a month long surf trip in 1980. Its changed a lot...still a gorgeous country. My true knowledge is in Nicaragua and Panama. When I decided to focus on Panama 6 years ago, Nicaragua became more and more history.
