A billboard in Texas made waves on social media Tuesday after its message was posted online.

"Liberals," the billboard reads. "Please continue on I-40 until you have left our GREAT STATE OF TEXAS."

More.

That’s a novel approach. Like that movie ‘Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.’

Great flick – and though the main character is a woman, there were no feminazis in sight.

And you in Australia see the polarization of America, a foreign country, as a positive thing. Why is that? You have some stake in promoting divisiveness in American society? Or you just celebrate it when it happens?
Enquiring minds want to know.

"Feminazis"

:lamo

Instead of spending 5 bucks on a bumper sticker for his car, area dumbass conservative spent a hell of a lot more money on the same thing. He now has significantly less money than before.

I approve.

I think he's just a fan of conservative causes in the US. much like many Americans supported Brexit and I make my way to Chilliwack for the gun show and donate some money to CCFR. I have no problem with an Aussie following our politics.

I question your taste in movies.

Personally, I am against acts of gross incivility aimed at shredding apart the social fabric of our communities. Both in films meant to be taken seriously and in real life.

The point is he has spent money on something that made him happy.

The only news of interest is that he has less money than before and a lot less of it than had he chosen a cheaper, yet still dumb alternative.

Personally just the landscape in the background would have had me with my cruise control set at 120.

Whatever one thinks about the message it's a relatively well-made sign. If I were to engage in idle speculation, it being Texas I would assume the person probably comes from oil or cattle money and appears to have literal f***-you money. So, I do not think he is going to be running out of it any time so.

A billboard is, as Fiddytree said below, like a bumper sticker only bigger, so I guess the question is do bumper stickers polarize the country? It’s just people expressing their opinions – something socialists are notorious for disliking.

Scene: National Socialist (Nazi) Court, Berlin, 1940

Prosecutor: Und so, Hans, you had ein giant billboard un your farm facing der road?
Hans: Ja.
Prosecutor: Und vat did it say?
Hans: It told Hitler to leave Deutschland.
Prosecutor: So you see ze polarization of Deutschlands as der positive thing?
Hans: Nein, I think zat…
Prosecutor: Vat do you tink? You like to promote divisiveness in deutschen society?
Hans: Nein, I think you…
Prosecutor: Or you just celebrate it when es happens, ja?
Hans: Nein, the…
Prosecutor: Dieser man ist der traitor! Tear down der sign und punish him at vunce!
Hans: Nein, but…
Judge: Take him away! Burn ze sign!

And considerably more satisfaction. :D

Sure. It was pretty popular though.

Like BLM for instance?

Both in films meant to be taken seriously and in real life.

Me too. The film is great because it’s a person standing up to bureaucracy and government laziness, using her own money and Amendment I. It had great acting, great writing, great direction and no feminists or token minorities to be seen in miles. In real life, the billboard was the same - a person standing up to socialists using his own money and Amendment I. In many countries the ruling elite would destroy the billboards, as one moron tried to do in the movie.

So people who don't like the sign are just huge Nazis?

You personally know the people involved in the movie?

Are all movies with black people in them also made by Nazis? Can't have blacks in your movie?

The cities of Texas are full of liberals. Dallas, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio. Moreover, those cities create the vast majority of GDP for the state of Texas. So whoever bought that billboard should be glad that a lot of liberals bothered to live in his state.

There are some pretty areas of Texas like the Hill Country, Big Bend, parts of East Texas, but 80% of the state is literally the ugliest landscape on earth. Much of Texas looks like you took Western Kansas and covered it with death and decay.

I think his message was that he'd had enough of them, and wanted no more.
