I have to comment on your signature and its heartwarming defense of white men being ravaged by the deplorables and women. It's amazing to me how uncaring conservatives can be. I suppose it's just a by-product of valuing being 'strong', over being competent and compassionate.

Listening to that little child screaming, “Papa! Papa!” over and over will never melt their hearts. But they will just not tolerate being shamed for tearing families apart (and for political gain no less). For them it's just the principle of the thing, the damage to the children be damned.

Yes, anti-white racism is still racism, but it's whites who control most of the wealth and do most of the hiring and firing. So they might be on the receiving end of non-white resentment and 'discrimination', but to what effect? Exactly how much damage can the poor, the neglected and uninfluential inflict on the rich and powerful?

About the same damage that woman's sexism can inflict on men, especially conservative men who're well know for being submissive and timid. How many men have to carry the shame of having been sexually abused or taken advantage of at the hands of an uncaring and forceful misandrist [look it up]? In the real world, not many.

It would be like white male settlers bitching and moaning about being on the receiving end of native American discrimination while they rape their women, steal their land destroy their way of life. Poor babies...

In case you're truly new here and not a former lurker, I am not white. I am a Dominican born naturalized US citizen whose family waited in line the right legal way for 5 years. My parent's did things the right way. I absolutely abhor illegal immigrants, that I bear their stigma, that while being 3.5% of the population they commit 37% of the murders.

I oppose anti-white racism because I oppose racism, if they can do it to them they can do it to me. I also oppose false allegations of racism because they actually hurt REAL victims of racism. I have experience actual racism. When people cry wolf at misperceived racists, they do to the victims what false allegations of rape to do actual rape victims; they make people feel less inclined to believe them.

I actually have looked up the statistics and far more males are subjected sexual abuse than women are when you include the prison population. You speak from a position of ignorance. Women also commit more acts of domestic violence against men, they just don't do as much damage. But when law enforcement or the courts get involved, the men get truly screwed both legally and literally.

You are making the mistake of thinking conservatives do not care about a problem because they disagree with your solution to a problem. All the while ignoring the selective outrage that did not occur of the deporter in chief President Obama, or the currently FAR more strict immigration laws of Canada or Mexico.

All criminals are separated from their families when incarcerated. In the case of these migrants, > 90% aren't even being separated from relatives. Many of these children are being sent here alone, with a plan B pill because being raped along the way is expected. Are not the parents who knowingly subject their children to this the callous ones?

I am also 9% Native American, so point that misplaced outrage elsewhere.

Please note that my comments on your signature were directed at all conservatives as I believe you've captured the sentiments of the vast majority. I don't know about your personal experience, nor do I care.

My grandparents immigrated from Madera Island after waiting in line the right legal way too, but that doesn't make me more inclined to abhor immigrants fleeing war or persecution. And btw, your 37% statistics is not correct and can only be found on conservative 'news' sites. Post a link from an unbiased source if you can find one.

We all know that men are subjected to abuse in prison, but since they're being abused by other men, it's a moot point. I like most liberals don't consider parents who're seeking safety for their children as criminals. Conservatives who believe that the ends justify the means are the callous ones and this abuse of children is a perfect example.

The bold is the only part of your post I felt warranted a response. Firstly, do you consider the FBI crime stats webpage a conservative site? How about the GAO's?

Here's a few choice stats for you:
GAO: About 40 percent of individuals convicted as a result of DOJ terrorism-related investigations were aliens.
GAO: Alien traffic violations accounted for about 50 percent of arrest offenses
GAO: In fiscal year 2005, the criminal alien population in federal prisons was around 27 percent of the total inmate population (being <4% of gen pop)
The GAO estimates “criminal aliens” were arrested, convicted and incarcerated for 25,064 homicides. If non-citizens committed them over seven years, the annual rate would be 14.2 per 100,000 non-citizens. If illegal aliens committed them over four years, the annual rate would be 58.0 per 100,000 illegal aliens. Either way you compute, those are high rates.

Or look at the total number of homicides in those years. Per the FBI, there were 67,642 murders in the U.S. from 2005 through 2008, and 115,717 from 2003 through 2009. Per the GAO, criminal aliens committed 25,064 of them. That means they committed 22% to 37% of all murders in the U.S., while being only 3.52% to 8.25% of the population.

First of all the quote above is a conservative interpretation of the statistics, written by a conservative for a conservative magazine, not from the government. But of course misrepresentation is SOP for many conservatives.

Secondly because we are a nation of immigrants, you shouldn't subject yourself to self-loathing like this. Doesn't history show us that since recorded time, in every country, the poor generally commit more crime than the well off? Trying to keep out the tired, the poor and the huddled masses that we historically have always let in, is un-American.
