That's because the term "czar" was used to try to make Obama look bad. Presidents have had czars for a very long time in the United States.

We didn't have a word to make him look bad, Obama did that al by himself, and I recall any number of times Obama using the term all too often in speeches as if it meant something.

Pity to see that someone doesn't realize that we might have more use of these words, if we had less of what used to be considered a "grand old party."

Excuse me, Putin IS in every respect an old fashioned czar.
And he IS very much in the current administration.

Humility, honesty, and honor were things I think were once part of the American heritage. But I guess those are not qualities valued in a "great" America.

Not hardly. I usually assume people who use the "I know you are, but what am I?" card are on a Sesame Street level, so there's not really much you can do to bruise my ego. I don't think you are capable.

He appointed over 45 Czars

Terrorism Czar: John Brennan

Jobs Czar: Jeffrey Immelt
Special Advisor Czar: Valerie Jarrett
Regulatory Czar: Cass Sunstein
Consumer Czar: Elizabeth Warren
And last but not least: Green Jobs Czar: Anthony “Van” Jones

OH MY GOD! It's like they're White House employees that the Bush Administration had about the same quantity of. I'm so mad they get paid on our dime. The President should make sure we don't pay people to make the government actually work while Americans pay more for his rounds of golf than all the czars Obama employed combined.
 
Bush had 33, Obama 38, 15% more no?
