His housing unit listed on the jail's website: "VIP." He was the only inmate at the jail with that housing unit description as of today. Paulie will probably be spending the first month or so in isolation.

Then maybe he'll get Michael Vick's old cell. :2razz:

He will not have to worry about receiving medical treatment, medications as others have at that facility. He will get the best of care. Cannot have him seriously ill in jail. The CT/Spankster Nutters would have a field day

Oh I have my CT theory already laid out for him. My tin foil hat tells me putin doesn't want him talking and we all know what happens to someone when putin doesn't want them to talk.

If he was not high profile he would not be in such a facility. If in NY City, they go to Rikers, except for people like Mantafort.

Mantafort lead a high risky life shirting over into illegality, it caught up with him.

ABC News reported that Mr. Russia is being housed on a VIP section of whatever incarceration facility

Yup. Manfort certainly is trash ... trying to strong-arm witnesses while out on bond. He's right where he belongs now.

I think it is because of a matter of wealth and privilege he didn't think consequences applied to him.

It is pretty clear national Republicans do not care about law and order. I believe local and state Republicans still do, but national Republicans clearly do not.

Sigh. I don't know how valid that actually still is, and I don't think it's been valid for some years now in most places.

It saddens me, but Republicans are behaving like a party that believes it will never be held accountable. For. Anything.

They've been doing this since Reagan's first POTUS election.
 
At least he's not in a Southern Neck Jail.

Its a dangerous game.

If their constituents ever discover (and accept) the extent to which they have been cynically manipulated for forty years, the streets will run red.

All of conservative media at this point is a "crisis response program". One that has to reconfigure regularly due to trumps constant changing of his stories/positions.

This is "dangerous" and could go sideways quickly.

I don't think we are gloating to say it is a good thing for someone charged with so many crimes that it takes two trials and then attempts to change the testimony of witnesses to have to spend some time in jail for it, do you? What I find interesting is that the FBI weren't the ones to find out what Manafort was doing, the FBI were notified by the witnesses themselves.
