Bible Passages You Won't See Trump Administration Quoting

And, as I indicated, they'll get castigated for not being Christian. Whereas if they do use the bible to justify an action, they get dumped on for tearing down wall of separation.

I can only speak for myself. I don't mind the Bible or any other religious text being referred to when it is about treating fellow human beings decently. When it is being used to oppress, however...

Actually, the question I should ask is do you honestly consider yourself a libertarian. I do not see how any self-respecting libertarian could support an administration that uses religion to warn against criticizing the government. That is about as anti-libertarian as it gets.

I don't see "follow the law" as being anywhere close to "shut up and don't criticize meeeeeee!!!!!!"

Even if I did, until they start actually doing something to people who criticize them, they can bluster all they want.

FYI,when Israel became a nation again,we started living not only in New Testament times,but returned to Old Testament times too.

That is absolutely their strategy. People have always used religious texts to shut down debate. I am just throwing it right back at them.
