Democrats Now Think The Mueller Probe Is A Witch Hunt

Lessee: Trump has been calling this a witch hunt for months or more, together with his allies. Mueller has said nothing. Hence public opinion is affected. Then there is the sticky matter of the convictions. And the fact that Trump practically said he as obstructing justice. But I assume you have some insight into the investigation that the rest of us are unaware of.

Frankly, I don't think there was any collusion, though it's obvious that Russia interfered. Trump is corrupt, but I don't think he was that stupid.

So there was no collusion and Comeys own memos show Trump telling him to keep investigating, so no obstruction either. That makes this a witch hunt. The real story is over at the FBI.

In case you forgot, Mueller was the one who took down John Gotti. He started with Gotti's low-level associates and worked his way on up the chain.

See a pattern here?

No. It was said that Manafort was in Trump's administration. Manafort was not in Trump's administration. More fail of the left.

No one has said that manafort was in Trumps administration, just more of your never ending lies.

LOL. Trump practically said he was obstructing justice before Mueller even started his investigation. Here we are over a year later and Mueller is so incompetent that he can't prove something that you say is supposedly so obvious - maybe because there is no evidence that Trump obstructed justice.

He told Lester Holt that he fired Comey because of Russia. That is an admission of guilt. Cohen is going to be Trump's downfall though, he knows it all and is ready to sing.

If that is so, then why is Mueller so totally incompetent that he can't get Trump for something so obvious? I mean Mueller is spending millions upon millions upon millions of dollars and he can't figure out something as easily as you did. Why is he so incompetent? Why does he have to have a team? Why can't he just use Lester Holt on his team and that's it?

Mueller has said nothing about his investigation of Trump so far. He may conclude yes or no based on the Lester Holt interview or other stuff. Wait for his report, or do you have an advance copy?

Now Democrats and Independents think the Mueller investigation is nothing but a witch hunt. The longer the witch hunt goes on the more people will realize that they are just out to get Trump, no matter how long it takes and no matter what they have to do. There is no obstruction of justice, both Comey and Lynch have been shown to be who they really were (along with several others), there is a deep state, and there is still no evidence Trump or his campaign intentionally colluded with the Russians IN ORDER TO INFLUENCE THE ELECTION.

24% ? That's the democratic citizens...not reps and senators.

58% disapprove of Trump's presidency...up from 40%.

60% of independents disapproval of Trump. (up from 46%).

But you guys all say that Trump obviously obstructed justice. If it was so obvious then why does Mueller need a team? Why does Mueller need to spend untold millions of dollars? Why does Mueller need a year ongoing to take Trump away in handcuffs when it was so glaringly obvious over a year ago?

Short memory ? I wonder why ? As it looks to me, Mueller might just be getting started.

If suddenly bad memories was an offense, we'd need a whole new jail.

Roger Stone was on C-Span the other day and when asked about conversation with a man who wanted $2 million
for dirt on HRC, said it was only 20 minutes long and was so innocuous, he didn't recall.

Innocuous ? A 20 minute conversation with a request for $2 million for dirt...and he just didn't remember ? Isn't that precious ?

Because Mueller is investigating more than obstruction of justice.

LOL It took 2 full years for Nixon to resign after Watergate. The last thing you should be worrying about is Muellers "incompetence". He wants to know everything about Trumps Russia connections above all. The obstruction charge is just icing for the cake. We all need to know what Trump is obstructing don't we? As far as the $17 million spent so far, its peanuts. It wouldn't pay for 2 miles of that stupid wall you want so much.

Read Comeys memos. Plus, he did fire Comey over the Russia thing: he fired Comey because Comey told him he wasnt a target but refused to say it publicly. That isnt obstruction. Besides, if Mueller were pursuing an obstruction case, Rosenstein would have to recuse himself. He hasnt.

The left says even before the Mueller investigation began that it was obvious that both the Trump campaign colluded with Russia to influence the election and that Trump obstructed justice. Yet, here we are, over a year later and Mueller is so extremely incompetent that he still can't prove either one.

Because Mueller is investigating more than obstruction of justice.

But, but, but, he has already indicted several people. If the evidence was already available that either Trump colluded with Russia or obstructed justice, why hasn't Trump already been indicted? How long does it take to gather evidence that the left say already existed before the investigation even started? Mueller is either totally incompetent or has to keep investigating because he doesn't have the evidence yet, you know the evidence the left says existed before the investigation even began.

I don't need a breakdown of the costs. The costs are in the multimillions - for something that he didn't even have to have a team for. The only person he needed on his team is Lester Holt. Let's face it, Mueller is either totally incompetent or on a witch hunt because after a year and a half of supposedly rock solid evidence of both the Trump campaign colluding with Russia to influence the election and obstruction of justice, he still can't indict Trump.

The absolutely hilarious thing though is the fact that you lefties claim that Russia influenced the election to elect Trump and here you are with the 2018 midterms fast approaching, you want to have another election where Russia influences the election and yet you simultaneously think that Democrats are going to win big in the midterms. How is that possible if Russia is meddling in the midterms and Mueller won't wrap up his investigation in time to stop midterm election meddling? Aren't you afraid that Russia meddling in the midterms will favor Trump? Or, do you think Russia meddling is what is going to help the Democrats in the midterms?

Trump has spent more taxpayer money simply flying back and forth between DC and Mar a Lago. Don't talk to us about costs until you've reimbursed us out of pocket for all that jet fuel and security.

Funny, he is a republican appointed by a republican, respected by all.

The total costs to taxpayers is now nearly $68 million for expenses related to Trumps 112 rounds of golf. Golfing that he claimed dozens of times he would not have time for as President.

I think the Mueller knows it is far more important to find out what Trump was obstructing anyway. That was his mandate and he takes it very seriously. It now appears that Cohen will be a pivotal witness in that part of the case. You might want to check out what a close friend of his is saying now. It is very interesting.

If Cohen was pivotal to the Mueller probe, Mueller wouldnt have passed him off to NY prosecutors.

You don't know how smart Mueller is. Trump can't pardon him in a NY prosecuted offense.

I understand that, but if Cohen was integral to Muellers investigation, Mueller would not have handed him off.
