If You're White then You're a White Supremacist

If you are white and

1) You believe in a color blind society then you're a white supremacist.

2) You point out racial difference then you're a white supremacist.

According to a review published by psychologists in the UK.

Because some one said so on twitter...

Srsly, do you ever think to even ****ing question a little bit when people say something you want to believe? Or do you always assume random person on twitter must be right because you want to believe it?

More Twitter bullcrap. What's so fascinating about what random idiots post on Twitter that you keep bringing Tweets here?

However, this particular one looks like sarcastic humour to me. I think that person is agreeing with you. You might want to actually read it.

no, saying something does not make it true.

That's ridiculous.

1) You believe in a color blind society then you're a white supremacist.

2) You point out racial difference then you're a white supremacist.

1. If you believe "society," any society, is entirely colorblind, you're an idiot. You may or may not be a white supremacist or WN, but you're an idiot first and foremost.

2. Most are fine with informed, constructive discussions of racial and cultural differences and how we should/can overcome them to diminish the seams in our society. The problem seems to be that most people who want to highlight these "differences" have some racial (generally white nationalist) axe to grind, and are specifically motivated by a desire to exacerbate these seams.

What review? All I see at the link you posted is an image, posted by one person (not by psychologists) and no link to an actual report, study, review, etc.

Your link is just about some Twitter post but I think what you're talking about is cognitive bias. We all have racial prejudices because of the culture we live in.

We’re All a Bit Racist

But this study says that it's not just Whites who have racial biases gainst Blacks, but Blacks themselves. It's just a consequence of the fact that Blacks are on average poorer and there is a lot of cultural baggage.

I would push it farther and say that we're all vulnerable to racial bias. So instead of denying it we should try a be and do better.

Because...for some people, if minorities are having a better quality of life, it must be at the expense of white people  Zero sum gain fallacy.

Yup. There's only so much quality of life in the world. Quit stealing mine!

The Alt. Right is much about scouring the Internet for nuggets like this to then spread to the faithful, binding the cult ever tighter.

Here's the thing.

Black people are disproportionately poor and its accompanying ramifications. Is this the result of privilege and other remaining impacts of slavery and institutional racism in America? In other words, is it socioeconomic? I think so.

But what if everyone is treated equal in housing, education and the justice system. What if there are no lingering effects of terrible times. What if we have equal opportunity and systemic fairness? Then what is to blame.

The delusion of utopia and resulting conclusions are inherently racist. A person might not be aware of that, but logic and reason leave no alternative. We might note, blaming "black culture" while denying privilege is a weasel term. It's merely substituting culture for people, as if that protects one from criticism or makes one an anthropologist.

I don't believe I have ever heard anyone state that society "is" colorblind but rather the goal should be a colorblind society.

I think a great place to start is the single motherhood rate. I believe Education and Criminal Justice reform would greatly aid in reducing the disparities we see. The single motherhood rate is one of the largest predictors for both crime and poverty.

How much of the disparities would you attribute to culture? Or do you believe culture has little to no impact?

Single parenthood. One parent is barely enough, hopefully. Sometimes it's more than most. Having the time and income of two committed parents is a game changer.

Poverty culture, if we're to play anthropologist. The ramifications of poverty are neither inclusive of black people nor exclusive of others. It really has nothing to do with black beyond a disproportionate representation resulting from various socioeconomic factors.

Your crap is getting so far out in right field it belongs in Conspiracy.

What "review"?

I see a tweet with a picture.

This is what white victimhood looks like, people.

Here’s the reference; a bona fide psychology journal.

Did any of you actually doubt that this is the way SJWs think?

So why can you not link to it, and why can't I find the article? Not saying that random person on twitter misrepresented what the article says...

If you are white and walk around making the Nazi sign or yelling the n word, then, yes you are for white supremacy. And yes there are subtle signs of racial aspects in our society, but the present president has made it okay to make what used to be subtle overt. And when it happens someone around covers it with their cell phone and within minutes the whole thing ends up on the internet. And those who make these overt actions often end up losing their jobs. So punishment is often swift for those who make these overt racist actions. The problem will be when no one is punished for these actions. Hopefully that won't happen.

The British Journal of Medical Psychology is a discontinued journal. Volume 18 of it was published in 1939. There is no article from it that is entitled "You Shall Not Replace Us!’ White supremacy, psychotherapy and decolonisation." Searching for that article title produced no such titled article at all.

Citing a bogus reference, you don't want to talk about what I doubt.....
