Alienating allies.Alienating his allies and cosying up to dictators. Winning.
And being a billionaire does not make you a good person or a good President. He was born into wealth.
If allies are really only our buddies from rearview and only if they are the ones pumping money out of America wells while giving us the shaft, we need to come to the realization of that reality. We depend on them interdependently, but they moreso on us. Things always change and insightful leaders notice, have a feel for where things are headed. In the 70s our war torn but, with our help, recovering economies worlwide, allies and enemies, rose up as real competitors again.
Yet American taxpayers and our young men and women have specifically assured Europe and our allies in the Pacific a continued more than adequate defense. Now that each has resumed state adulthood, they need not suck from the American teat...theyve coasted at our expense a minimum 2 decades, since the fall of the curtain.
No, but going from a million or so up to Billions in the private sector is generally more highly regarded. Than those working the system from the political inside, surely. If nothing else a voluntary exchange of actual goods and services must occur to survive ongoing in the private business world.
Talk to Haitians about the Clinton Foundation...thats just one in many "anomolies". Its not whatabout, it was whatsthechoice? We just took the lesser of the evils...and we got lucky.
You dont think so. I know so, at least to my value system. Perfect, no. But its idiotic to sacrifice very good on the altar of perfection. Especially if its the utopian altered altar model.
