Because I use credible and reputable sources .... CNN, WaPo, WSJ, NYT, NPR, CBS/NBC/ABC, The Hill, Reuters, AP, etc.

Now you know the difference.

There was a recession through March, 1991 so I'm not sure how great he was doing. 1991 actually had a net job loss for the year. 1992 picked up but too late to help much. Bush lost because he said "Read my lips, no new taxes" and then reneged.

Well the general agreement was always a winning War Time President was a shoe in

The no new taxes things was about Bush being presented with evidence and having teh courage to do what was good for the nation and not himself. Otherwise he would have sat back and never allowed a tax hike
