What happened at the G7 Summit

This is a great analogy for what happened. It's at the top of Reddit right now, so I figure it could use it's own thread:

It's like a family member is dating this really awesome and cool guy (obama), and he comes to the family gatherings and is an instant hit and everything's great.

But then they break up, and at the next family dinner she shows up with this ... guy. And you think "What a nob! But maybe I only dislike him because I miss the last guy so much, I should give him a fair chance".

Then the new guy gets drunk, grabs your mom's *****, urinates in your cousin's tuba and tells your great grandma an off-colour joke involving a cob of corn and the reproductive tract of a gorilla. And you think, "No, this guy is just a nob".

And you try and try to like the new guy, for your family member's sake, but deep down inside, all you can do is miss the last guy and wonder what the hell your family did wrong to deserve this human carbuncle.

I'll take credit for this paragraph but not the top ^ :
Also the fact that he has millions of instagram followers and his own personal fan club of girls that follow him everywhere (Yes, they are waiting in the driveway in his Tesla) cheering him on and demanding that you give him a chance because he is the best, and that the girl is lucky to have him, irks you and the family. They say these things despite all evidence to the contrary.

What 'hate'? It's not hateful to point out that Trump acted like an 11 year in the employ of the Russians and had himself a good, old-fashioned meltdown about Trudeau.

I posted this analogy in the hopes that some on this board would read it and see why people are freaking out about the G7. I dumbed it down in terms that you might understand. But it's clear now that there is no arguing w/swampy supporters. They are too brainwashed and way to partisan to even try to understand our side of it. You just think everything is about Swampy hate.

I think this board is slowly losing it to the Swamp and that's a shame because I used to be able to have conversations on here with people. Now people see a post about Swmpy and they freak out. WTF is that? Why can't we just discuss the topic? Why does it matter how many threads I post about our idiot man-child President? You're damn right I'm pissed off about Swampy and your complacency about the state of things bothers me.

I think I understand why one set of people on this forum support trump. Their politics is essentially “bash liberals” and hate everything liberal.

They support trump.because he makes liberals suffer.

I think I can talk to two or three members of the cult and they try to make a point that isn't "I love Trump. Down with libruals!" People don't understand cyber bullying and that's a form of it. The same few posters also tell me to stop posting threads, even though others post way more threads about Swampy and they don't target them. Some of it I think is a targeted campaign by some members of this forum to get rid of me, but I'm not going anywhere, and I like to see them suffer too!

You may want to review the meaning of dispassionate.

No, Trump, an overmatched coward, was melting down about how his feelings were hurt by the big meanie Trudeau, braying about unfairness and how Trudeau lied, although he can't actually specify what lies Trudeau told.

You may want to take of the Trump blinders and see reality in the cold, hard light of day.

Or keep pretending there's actually hate there, if it protects your worldview.

And I said I did not come up with that. It's a post I got from Reddit but it does colorfully describe the things Swampy does or says. I don't think you understand the word analogy.

Unless your words are entirely inaccurate, then hate is there.

I thought that Trump was more offended by the difference between the face to face statements from Trudeau and the statement made to the press.

IF there was a difference in the two messages, if there were two messages, then there was cause for offense.
