Howard Dean: RNC could be charged with obstruction of justice for hiring Cohen | TheHill

Former Democratic National Committee chairman Howard Dean claimed Friday that the committee's Republican counterpart could face obstruction of justice charges for keeping President Trump's attorney Michael Cohen as its deputy finance chairman amid a criminal probe.

In an interview with MSNBC's Ari Melber, Dean said that the Republican National Committee's (RNC) decision to keep Cohen on staff as he is being probed for possible campaign finance violations and wire fraud could end up harming the organization.

On Rachel Maddow's show this PM it was revealed that over 99% of the documents & machines seized in the raid of Cohen's properties that have been scanned by the Special Master so far have been cleared for release to the prosecutors next Friday despite his attorneys efforts to delay the proceedings. Only a very small number have been set aside as privileged.

Howard Dean is the king of political hyperbole.

So . . .

Lock them up?

Howard Dean is the king of political hyperbole.

Howard Dean is a lot of things: medical doctor, former Governor of Vermont, former head of the DNC, etc. I detect no hyperbole in his statements.

"Yeeeeee-haaaaw".

I have no problem with Howard Dean. Maybe he's stretching it a bit to include the RNC, maybe not. Wouldn't surprise me either way. *sigh* Politicians.

Well now that's inventive charging, I know that we specialize in that in the America run by these Modern Morons but that is GOOD!

Dean doesn't know what the hell he is talking about...but Maddow's useful idiots don't care.

The "Special Master"??? LOL!!

It might be harmful to the organization but it certainly isn’t obstruction of justice.

Have you seen this guy on morning Joe? How do you describe a person like him?
Out of touch with reality.

What else would the man says about the RNC? Pure politics!!

Something happened with the "scream".

Slow news day?
Why would anyone care what Howard Dean has to say? One Howard Dean "I have a scream speech" is enough for one lifetime.

Is Dean looking to make a 2020 run?
