he could have probably avoided negative attention in a couple ways :

1. don't run for president.

2. don't run for president using the strategy of acting like a buffoon while possibly working with Russia to hack the email accounts of your opponents and probably taking bribes from corporations via the bank account of your attorney and acting like a slimy asshole in general.

i know that when we get up in the morning, a lot of us really struggle not to do these things, but most of us make it happen somehow.

It was the Eric Trump Foundation. Once you agree to participate in a sketchy undertaking, you are considered part and parcel of a criminal enterprise whether it was your idea or not.

They rage at the stimuli they have been conditioned to rage at. On cue.

You don't have to even be coherent. Just say the words, use the phrases, while talking about something you want them to hate, and they will indeed hate it. Without giving it a thought.

I am sure that your fantasies are nice.

I have been ranting about Generational warfare for decades, I have been yammering up my anger at the tax changes making this worse since well before it became law, I have been talking about how the stratification of the classes is breaking America for decades, I have been talking about our broken medical system for decades, I have been talking about how globalization and in particular the free flow of capital was a swindle agreed to by corrupted governments that cleared the path for the new global oligarchs by weakening the power of governments for over a decade.

You need to pay attention better if you expect to gain my attentions, I am getting older, I dont have a lot of time to waste.

Hahah, Trump's such a victim snowflake.

Basically he's saying everyone should be thankful he ran, despite the terrible hardship it caused him.

He went from playing golf 6 days a week to 4, he's suffering like no other human in history!
Instead of a gold toilet, he has to use a gold-TRIIMMED toilet, it's outrageous!

All about Trump isn't.
 
It occurs to me that unless Eric is talking about how much harder it is for his father to find someone who will agree to have sex with him, Eric is probably talking about how much worse his own life is now that his family's shame is under the world's spotlight 24-7.
