Incredible but true. However in New York, Cohen's home state, it was made illegal in 1984, when he was just a lad of 22. Never was the brightest bulb, but the kind of bully that Trump would like.

Of course this makes no sense to a thinking human. But Trump adored his attorney Roy Cohn...who was a nasty fu****. And then he died, and this nasty fuc*** showed up.

Cohen seems more like the lawyer a mobster would hire than a billionaire’s lawyer.

It was finalized as "marital rape" in 1981 by the Supreme Court. Then in all 50 states by, yes, 1993. Then states starting changing "marital rape" to just plain "rape" into the 21st century. I don't know where it stands in how many states at this time.
