Elon Musk Goes to War with the MSM

Elon Musk has gone to war with the mainstream media. He realizes there is a problem with the credibility of the media among the public, he understands the need for a credible media in a Democracy, and has taken some pretty big shots at the media recently. He's even talking about creating some sort of credibility rating system for the media. He created a poll, and last I looked 88% of the voters picked the option about the media losing their credibility. Lets just say that some journalists didn't take this well, and fired their water gun back at him. There is a difference between MSM and the 24/7 Cable News Networks. The real 4th Estate resides within MSM. 24/7 Cable News has gotten so bad now that it is just click bait.....endless click bait. At best it might give you a vision into what powerful people want you to think. At worst it is simply click bait. You get two hours of news at most, between 22 hours of pure garbage.

Trump constantly talks about the firing of Comey being a benefit to the country. Trump and Comey are manifestations of the same problem. We have grown so addicted to Celebrity, addicted to form over substance that we even have a head of an Investigative Agency of government thinking that he has the political mind set, the political perspective to understand where we were in late 2016, where the political process was and allow his interpretation to effect his actions, actions that in his view needed to take place in the public domain, ON TV. Since when!

Comey is a smart man, likely a good FBI agent and a political idiot. McCabe is a political idiot. Clapper is a political idiot proving himself as much with his recent comments within which he was completely unable to express his real thoughts extemporaneously without tripping himself up.

At least Clapper was already out of government. That is about all I have to say for him. But all of these guys including Trump are manifestations of the same problem. We have become addicted to Celebrity and our addiction to it feeds the 24/7 cable news networks who then feed back to us exactly the drug we are addicted to.

The truth is, we want Investigative Agents to be political idiots. We don't want them thinking they are slick political operatives because in fact they are not. The mind of an Investigative Officer does not suddenly and overnight become the mind of a slick political operative. However it is us that is moving this entire dynamic forward, right off a cliff edge!

Not in this case. The article had responded most directly to Bloomberg, which while they do have a cable channel, isn't usually considered to be a 24/7 Cable News Channel. Many had been attacking Tesla for crashes, not just on Cable, but also in articles.

Article?? I didn't see an article. I saw a link to a tweet that referred to "big media companies" and a post that referred to MSM.
