This proves what I have been saying for a very long time now. There is no peace in sight for this area of the world, nor is there an interest in peace.

Liberals use their brains. Leftists **** themselves in their pretense of care of cause and their overriding hatred of Israel. The facts are what they are. HAMAS ordered the people not to peacefully protest but to violently engage the IDF in an attempt to take down the barriers. It was their stated goal. Idiot leftists ignore the facts. Facts are irrelevant to mindless leftist twats.

This was not a 'peaceful protest'. Of course you know that.

Israel has been interested in peace for a long time, it's been the Pals. who have been refusing to peaceful. If you want proof, just ask Tali Hatuel and her 4 daughters.

Hamas is a political party. They feel that Israel is an occupier. Some of their members are engaged in violent resistance to what they believe is the Israeli occupation. Technically, Israel is illegally occupying. That's technically true. Some Hamas members are terrorists.

But just being a member of Hamas doesn't make you a terrorist.

Let's say Russia was occupying the United States and some Americans attacked Russian troops and Russians in the U.S. Would those Americans be terrorists? To the Russians they would be but to Americans, they would be resistance fighter. It all depends on what side you take.

I believe the U.S. should stay out of it and take no sides. Hamas is bad and Israel is bad for allowing their citizens to settle in occupied territory. We should stay out of it.

What I hate about conservatives is they want to get involved in these endless conflicts. Then they act shocked when we become a target for terrorists.

Bullets are the standard? You arent that stupid. You know they were using slings, rocks, Molotovs, setting fires, and trying to tear down the fences and gates. You also know that HAMAS ordered them to try to bring down the fences and gates KNOWING Palestinians would die. You arent that stupid. You wouldnt wait until someone was cutting your childs throat before you defended your home. So no...you arent that stupid. But your positions are that corrupt. Of course...when you are driven by your hatred of a people I guess you allow yourself to become such.

Slings and rocks aren't a threat to snipers. Crowds can be dispersed with non-lethal force. Civilized countries do it all the time.

Many say this.

Yet the conflict continues, loss of life occurs all too frequently, and in the end we have more events like this where “protestors” without much other than sticks, slings, and rocks end up dead.

Hamas being behind this is still noted, and they are notorious for designing a newsworthy mess.

But I no longer buy that Israel is running around wanting peace doing everything they do across the region with amazing frequency.

You continue to ignore the fact that a terrorist organization coordinated an attack on the IDF and the walls there with the STATED INTENT to take down the fences, infiltrate, and murder Israelis.

If the IDF snipers were shooting at white Christians, you'd be responding differently.

Sadly, due to my misbehavior, I won't be able to post on it there for a week, but after that -- I'll show up! It really belongs there because of the way these types of threads devolve into pretty intense arguments. But hey, I agree with you!

Eitam and his wife Naama were ambushed by Palestinian gunmen as they drove with their four children, all under the age of 10, in the West Bank on October 1, 2015. The gunmen shot Eitam and Naama multiple times and they were pronounced dead at the scene, while the children who had just witnessed their parents murder were only lightly injured. They were buried the following day, and Eitam's parents stated at his funeral that they would raise the children as their own. The funeral was attended by Israeli President Rueven Rivlin, who delivered a eulogy. During the subsequent week it was revealed that the husband, Eitam, was an American citizen, and five Hamas members were arrested in connection with the attack.

On November 17 2014 two Palestinian cousins Ghassan and Uday Abu Jamal entered the Kehilat Yaakov Synagogue in Jerusalem at 7am armed with knives, meat cleavers, hatchets and guns, and began opening fire and wildly slashing at the estimated 25 individuals inside. The attack killed five individuals including three US citizens holding dual US-Israel citizenships and a policeman responding to the attack, and injured six others including one more policeman who was injured during the shootout with the terrorists. Both attackers were from the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Jabel Mukaber, and were known associates of the terrorist organization the People's Front for the Liberation of Palestine. In response to this attack, Israel's Public Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovich announced that weapons carrying restrictions would be temporarily eased for private security gaurds and off duty IDF soldiers. Police officer Master Sergant Zidan Sif, who gave his life protecting others, will be posthumously awarded the Israeli Medal of Distinguished Service, the third highest honor that can be bestowed on an Israeli officer. At Sif's funeral the Rabbi of Kehilat Yaakov praised Sif for standing "like a wall" protecting the individuals inside. Almost a full year after the attack, victim Chaim Yechiel Rothman died of his wounds at Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem.

I'm saying you and anyone else that suggests otherwise are a liar if you or are suggesting you would sit idly by while people you know plan to murder your family set fire to your walls trying to force their way in. A liar or worse, if you allowed it to happen.

This isnt a discussion on who is right or wrong in the presence of Israel and Palestine. This is a discussion of a known terrorist attack commissioned and directed by HAMAS, with the intent to breach Israels perimeter and with THEIR stated intent once inside to kill Israelis. That is their history. Anyone that has a problem with Israel defending itself in that situation...**** em.
