Trump's norm-breaking is leading to a constitutional fight

Reid was like Teddy Roosevelt, speak softly and carry a big stick. Reid would table almost every piece of legislation that came from the GOP house. He wouldn't allow it to the floor for a vote. Smart move politically on Reid's part, that way Democratic senators from red states wouldn't have to cross the people back home to vote the way Reid wanted them to.

Unless Congressional Republicans stand up for their Democrat counterparts and insist that the ranking members be invited to this meeting about the absurd notion of a spy there is nothing anybody will be able to say about a Reid led Senate. We put the government into a coma today. Its dead with barely a pulse and we did it not because we are at war, not because the country is close to collapse. We did it because some citizens want a certain kind of country and they simply do not care what gets broken along the way.

The OP says Fox News is the "sympathetic media" which is "to foster conspiracy theory right from the Oval Office".

That is giving one channel a lot of power.

I guess that doesn't say much for the other hundreds of channels that report different versions.

The all powerful Fox News. Yeah sure.

You know I have heard the same argument from the other side. I think it was the other day where someone posted that the Democrats are out to destroy and if they destroy the nation along with Trump, they don't care as long as they destroy Trump. That or something very close.

I sit here, reading all this stuff on this site and listening to this stuff and I wonder what the heck is going on. It used not to be this way. At least that I remember. My life hasn't changed on bit under Trump. It's the same as it was under Obama, under Bush and under Bill Clinton and on back to Truman. I was born right after WWII. Under each of these successive presidents, they did some things I was for and some I was against. Again, same for Trump, Obama, Bush etc.

I don't particularly care for Trump as president. It's his behavior, his persona, his character that drives me up the wall. I would have much rather had someone else as president, but not Hillary Clinton. I voted against both of them as did 8 million other Americans. To me both parties lacked common sense when it came to the nominations for president. But each party had the right to nominate whomever they wanted. I wish America had a better choice.

I'm not a partisan or an ideologue. I'm not a Republican or Democrat, I still claim the Reform Party as my party from the Ross Perot days. I long for a party that represents middle America, more or less the center, center right and center left. Not just the extreme right and the extreme left. This is kind of off the subject, but I'm tired of both parties fighting each other, trying to destroy each other. I realize there are some things they can't agree on or compromise on. But most thing they can if they wanted.

But again, I'm not all that partisan.

Don't deny it. They have a direct line to the presidency.
Trump has routinely attacked all of their big competitors over and over from the bully pulpit.
They have literally orchestrated messaging with the White House for a while now.

Liberals are going to have to find a way to correct that too. More nanny state for adults that act like babies.

OK, so that is the power you are talking about?

You think Fox News is running the country by proxy through Trump?

Yawn. More lies from you, I see. Have someone explain 'to imply' to you and get back to me when you're not so upset.

Ok so you can't prove that he said anything that you posted . Thanks for admitting it.
typical post form void of anything.

Good of you to confess that you have no idea what the word 'imply' means and you're babbling just to babble, with no discernable point based in reality to make. I never said that he said anything; I asked a question. This seems extraordinarily difficult for you.

Thansk for admitting to your dishonesty.
