i'm hoping that America's gag reflex is still intact. voting for a party that can't even be bothered to come up with a message or good candidates isn't exciting, but come on. the Trumpists have got to go.

it's not enough, though, man. you have to stand for something and at least have a bumper sticker message. you have to have good candidates. you have to convince the average worker that you're on their side and that you're going to fight for them and help them to make their life a little better. and even if you're kind of already doing that, you need optics that show them exactly what you're doing as you're doing it.

i think that it's likely that the Democrats will win in November, because there are a lot of Democrats and independents like me who are utterly furious about this Trump bull****. however, it's not a platform. it's fury. fury only goes so far. eventually, you have to have a plan, you have to sell it, and you have to keep selling it.

Actually he did not get it directly, but it did go to a company he has an interest in and which needed an infusion of cash to keep going. This will truly make a lot of money for the Trump company, which the president still owns. It violates the constitution, but you don't care, do you? Wonder how you woulld feel if Obama had really come and gotten your guns as the NRA said he would. Well, this is the same thing, a violation of our constitution.

And what then would be the reaction of Trump? Imagine the gloating and strutting and preening and chest thumping if that happens and then imagine the actions and policies that follow as he knows NOTHING can touch him. We will be even closer to authoritarianism and dangers to our very institutions and the people they are suppose to protect.
