Things are usually quiet on the weekends. Get a little tidbit on Friday and then everyone chills on the weekend and Monday things ramp up. Going to hit the ground at speed this Monday morning........

no mass school shootings on weekends, and no news reports of Trump paying off any porn stars, or hookers ...........

No news is good news. Quiet and peaceful is good, but it doesn't generate headlines.

I'm a politics & news junkie. But even I'm getting fatigued by it all!

I think there's a real opportunity in 2020 for candidate that bills his or herself as the "quiet & calm" candidate! I'm in! Where do I vote?

Trump livened things up with his DOJ order.

Google Qatar Kushner.

Kushner and Trump Jr. had the collusion door wide open.

Funny how the “America First” Trump campaign needed so much help from afar.

Attempted Collusion, Failed Collusion, Successful Collusion - it’s all collusion.

I dunno... maybe Canada or Australia. Quiet and calm doesn't seem to cut it in the USA.

Canada is sounding a lot more sane, to be honest. I always liked it up there, too. I hope they learn from our mistakes.

I would like for us to learn from our mistakes as well.
We can, as long as we have access to reasonably accurate information. But a large chunk of the country doesn't, even if by choice. If you don't have the facts, what can you learn?

Oh, well, lessons are repeated until learned. It's a bit like a strict grade school teacher who makes the kiddos repeat lessons until they are learned. We didn't learn our lesson in Vietnam, for example, so it was repeated in Iraq. I'm not sure we've still learned that lesson, but we'll find out eventually.
