Trump has already achieved something. The insane fat boy in North Korea has at least for now, stopped his missile tests and stopped making belligerent threats. He has also met directly with the South Korean leader and expressed a willingness to end the 70 year old war. The South Korean leader has given Trump much of the credit for all of that. Why can't you give credit where credit is due? You can still continue hating Trump's guts for partisan political reasons if you like, however intellectual honesty is about accepting that Trump is heading in the direction of major progress in regards to North Korea. All it took was an American president willing to call North Korea's bluff.

What Tres Barrochos and company does not want to understand or admit to is that just as with Reagan, Trump rode a populist wave into the white house and has actually followed through on campaign promises rather then playing the usual Washington DC swamp games. We have had it with establishment politicians in both parties who have been selling us down the river.

No, the whole point of the democracy is that majority wins. They were unable to anticipate that big states much larger than the original 13, which did not exist when the constitution was written, would distort
the electoral college in a way that, by a fluke, a President could win with a minority vote.

And, in November, the electoral college would be able to help you. Also, the founding fathers didn't intend for legislators to gerrymander districts, either.

This shows that you are not an objective thinker in the least. You have already determined that should X happen, Trump is not responsible for X no matter what causes X to happen. I expect North Korea to say things like this in the future and either the US, North Korea, or both to say they are walking away from a deal at some point. It's all negotiation and leverage. At the end of the day, I fully expect a deal to be made. North Korea has committed too much to not be serious about getting a deal done, and I doubt we will allow a serious Kim Jong-un to get away without a deal.
