I must admit that I can find no words to describe the level of hypocrisy being shown by the Trump administration:

On Wednesday, three organizations — the ACLU, Planned Parenthood and the National Family Planning & Reproductive Health Association — joined together to sue the Department of Health and Human Services Office of Population Affairs for drastically rewriting its Title X funding priorities to grant awards to programs that favor abstinence programs over contraception provision. Title X was explicitly created in 1970 to help low-income women obtain contraception, but the Trump administration's new guidelines indicate a preference for programs that discourage contraception use in favor of advising women to abstain from sex when not seeking pregnancy.

The article continues:

President Trump, who told Howard Stern in 1998 that he was "getting the Congressional Medal of Honor" for what Stern described as "screwing a lot of women," initially appointed a religious-right advocate named Teresa Manning to run the Title X program. In 2001, Manning described contraception as "anti-family" and has said it promotes "promiscuity." She also claimed, in a 2003 interview, that “contraception doesn’t work."

Manning stepped down this January and was replaced with Valerie Huber, who used to run the National Abstinence Education Association, a group that rebranded itself as Ascend when the term "abstinence" became too toxic. Huber's group not only opposed straightforward contraception education, but also promoted health education guidelines in Tennessee public schools barring teachers from teaching any "message that encourages students to experiment with sexual activity." None of those terms were well-defined, leading to concerns that even acknowledging that teens hold hands and kiss might be against the rules.

No sex for fun for poor people, 'cause that leads to - *gasp!* - promiscuity!!!!

In related news, gotta get rid of immigrants since they're breeding! "There is a Revolution going on in California. Soooo many Sanctuary areas want OUT of this ridiculous, crime infested & breeding concept. Jerry Brown is trying to back out of the National Guard at the Border, but the people of the State are not happy. Want Security & Safety NOW!"

I guess immigrants (legal or otherwise) aren't supposed to have sex...or if they do, they shouldn't use contraception to avoid getting pregnant. :doh

Most definitely hypocritical but it also, in an unintended way, shows some validity in it. Trump is currently embroiled in a bunch of drama specifically for not adhering to these principles.

I love the:

"...very common among celebrities and people of wealth. In this case it is in full force and effect and will be used in Arbitration for damages against Ms. Clifford (Daniels)."

"To the rest of you "little people", the administration and the President say: "DROP DEAD, but if you fornicate outside of marriage, it's the hook for you."

Handmaids Tale. Only the rich get to have sex

step 2. Rich will dictate when the poor are permitted to "breed".....oh wait....

Different rules for the elite and the peasants...

Trump is embroiled for having unprotected sex with porn stars and playmates while married. Great...lets expose the family to whatever diseases might be floating around out there. Nice Donald. But I forgot...its Saint Donald.

Abstinence as a principle for adults is ludicrous. I lived through the last abstinence era and it was a joke. It is a joke. This is another fig leaf trying to cover the effort to kill Planned Parenthood as an organization. Planned Parenthood is not funded by the federal government for abortions. So that is yet another fig leaf. Certain parties in this country want to kill Planned Parenthood and they don't care how they accomplish it nor even if it is worth accomplishing.

Anything is acceptable to achieve that goal.

This trumpian ideology... it's in the same vein as 'ol Leona Helmsly:

"We don't pay taxes; only the little people pay taxes"

Same silver spoon condescension. Same taxation ideas. Same "let them eat cake" crap on the middle and lower classes as always. Same "do as I say not as I do" attitude.

The funniest part is that if Donald wasn't born with that silver spoon shoved up his ass by daddy, he'd definitely be a bald incel.

Please tell me everything you posted here came from The Onion, Glen! It can't be real. Is it??

I haven't visited The Onion in many years. It's all real, yet another couple items on the "Crap you would never have thought would happen a few years ago" list.

The irony of this particular Administration preaching abstinence and no sex outside of marriage burns. Painfully burns.

Reproductive rights advocates have also expressed concerns about language in the document that talks about "the benefits of avoiding sexual risk or returning to a sexually risk-free status, especially (but not only) when communicating with adolescents" — which some see as coded language aimed promoting abstinence only until marriage, even for adult women.

And which some see as meant as written.

I agree with it for adolescents.

I AGREE -
Sex outside of marriage is a terrible thing.

Who needs more sex when we are being screwed every day by Trump?
Didn't he say he will give us so much screwing that we will be sick of it?

Awfully sad. You try to promote premarital sex by insulting everyone who isn't a total whore.

Trump didn’t even wear a condom while cheating on his wife with a porn Star now he’s promoting abstinence.

This is why I can’t vote for a Republican. They have to cater to their base.

The same people who claim they want small government want government telling people when to have sex based on religious beliefs.
