Rudy Giuliani Just Came Clean About Why Trump Fired Comey

So he fired Comey because he was personally pissed, and not because Comey didn't do the job he was appointed to do.

What a sad petty man President Trump is. The FBI is supposed to serve the American public, not the President of the United States.

What was the payment schedule for repaying Cohen. Better be careful Donald. The FBI probably has the bank records.

The ONLY thing Donald does not have to lie about now is whether Donald knew about the payment or not. But now we are down to the process of trying to explain this away as not having anything to do with the campaign and that LIE won't hold either. But it will be tried.

Trump from the helicopter pad this morning: "Rudy will get his facts straight". Good luck with that Donald. Which "fact" do you want Rudy to get straight...last week's fact, yesterday's fact, last month's fact........????

Trump again this morning: "We haven't changed our story" The question is not whether you have changed your story Donald. The question is which story you are on now. If Rudy and Donald have one thing in common it is that they are too cute by a half. They think they can say anything and pass it off as the truth and they can't. But keep going Donald...keep going.

Is there anybody in trump world that Donald won't eventually if not immediately undercut? If he trying it with Flood, Flood will drop him like a hot potato.

Yes but there is a profound reason why the account referenced by you above is so important. The reason is most certainly related to the notion Trump did not obstruct or attempt to obstruct justice on the basis of the version of events given by Giuliani.

That forces the investigation to become a public court room, where people demand public disclosures of everything.

It screwed up Iran-Contra.

This might be true. But a possibility that keeps crossing my mind is that Giuliani is just getting demented and senile. The way he is doing all this just seems very bizarre. I can't imagine this is a part of some coherent strategy. I think he is losing judgment.
 
And tonight the WH has walked back Rudy's claim about the release of the 3 American hostages in N. Korea. So now the WH has gone from not commenting on Rudy's statement to walking back Rudy's statement. Thanks Rudy. It has taken all of 48 hours for you to prove that you are as big a POS as your client. Maybe a few less liquid lunches and liquid dinners would be a good idea Rudy. Better still just get out...get out before you do more damage to Americans depending on the government to be able to negotiate their releases.
