3 Hostages in North Korea Soon To Be Released - Thank You Trump!

Giuliani says 3 Americans held by North Korea to be released Thursday

This is a big win for Trump and it shows that he is making progress with North Korea -- It's a CNN report so maybe some people will call it fake news -- but I believe it and I give the Trump admin credit for bringing these hostages home.

another major milestone for trump. the media tries to slow him down by making up all those fake stories. meanwhile hes ending wars and freeing americans.

what a hero!

Sarah Sanders refused to confirm this when asked about it. It seems that the WH would be all over this.

I have to admit that Mr. Trump has been successful in having American spies released from the custody of the DPRK.

I also noted that

Trump teased the prisoners' impending release on Wednesday night, tweeting "stay tuned," and said the Obama administration had been unsuccessful in trying to free the "three hostages." Two of the three Americans, however, were imprisoned during Trump's presidency.

two of the three people being released were detained by the DPRK while Mr. Trump was the President of the United States of America but that Mr. Trump has claimed that Mr. Obama's administration had been unsuccessful in getting them released.

How Mr. Obama's administration could possibly have been successful in obtaining the release of people arrested after Mr. Obama had left office puzzles me.

To be fair to Trump, I am almost certain he doesn't know crap about the circumstances of these hostages -- the state dept probably told him they reached a deal with NK and they released hostages and Trump reflexively took credit while blaming Obama because in my opinion, Trump has a real jealously-born hatred for Obama -- but at least one of those hostages was Obama's failure to get released so he is part right with his tweet.

It actually works out for the NK, making them come off as the Good Guys.
Count on this, NK is not going to give up their nukes or ICBMs. So how are we all safer?

All about the credit, two of the detainees in PRNK were imprisoned on Trump’s watch and he says “the past Administration blah blah blah.........”

This is like a surreal nightmare. Does that pathologically stupid man not realize that two of those three hostages were imprisoned AFTER his inauguration?

I can't believe how easily that vile man lies, and how stupid people are for not calling him out on it.

A real cynic might think that the DPRK government released the prisoners (two of which it had scooped up when Mr. Trump was President [after all, getting three people released looks better than getting only one person released and you have to have three people in custody if you want to release three people]) in order to get Mr. Trump thinking that he was actually going to be able to out negotiate the DPRK government.

Seems to me that the last one released, Otto Wambler, was near dead when he was released. Then came the Canadian pastor who was released on a "sick leave". Has to make one wonder what shape these three will be in.
