The Trump Bottom Line- A Prediction

While I cannot speak for Howard, I am much better with politics than I am with gambling. I am once of those people who goes to Vegas to eat and see the sights and never loses a dime because I never bet anything.

LOL. Not one of your predictions has come true. Not one. Try buying a lotto ticket. At least with those your chances are only one in several hundred million.

My prediction?

People who suffered the psychic shock of seeing Trump elected and still suffer from TDS will never accept his Presidency and will continue to predict anything and everything happening that could make their dream of impeachment come true. That they will also actively "collude" to make this dream come true by any means necessary.

Other than that, as with the election, I will only say "time will tell." :coffeepap:

I'm not betting against you. You've got a sure winner.

It would actually benefit the Democrats more to leave Trump in office. That way they can run against him whether or not he runs for a second term.

Why don't the stupid idiots understand that?

I predict the Powerball numbers will be:

12
24
35
45
49
04

Someday.

I'm playing them. Thanks. I have a good feeling about this. My win is right around the corner. I'm going to be patient. Good things come to those who have patience. The drawing is coming up!

Just this morning we see the rationalization of the Trump lies and that of his campaign. We will see that all this is the fault of the great Satan - Hillary Rodham Clinton - for she presented such an existential danger to America and its people that she had to be stopped by any means necessary and that includes both fair and foul, both truthful and false, both good and its opposite. For the right wing in American created its Satan after a decade or more of its non-stop campaign against her and it culminated in the festering infected sore that is Donald Trump. And they embraced that oozing pus and bathed in it and allowed it to infect them. And now we are stuck with it running though our body politic infected the rest of the nation with its vile poisons.

God help us.

You are the top dog when it comes to rationalizing.

Well I will give you this much, Maxin Waters grows on my stupid meter everyday and is now at least running neck and neck with Hillary.

The dems have Tom Steyer out there running ads daily for his Impeachment effort. So if I were Maxin, I would say that somebody that does not have to gain a vote from the public in an election has got the Impeachment base covered for now. The most the dems want at this point is an undercurrent, beneath the waves of the potential for Impeachment, not a vocal election theme for Impeachment in May for God sake. If they did not have Steyer they would have to invent him.

Continuing to talk about Impeachment at this point is a dead nuts loser for dems even in the bluest district in the country. It is insane. It gains them nothing at this point other than sounding whinny and strident. Not exactly the right optics at this point.

It's all they got.

As much as I hate Hillary and truly despise her, Maxine Waters has blown the top off the stupid meter and it can't even be fixed. Can't believe how she could even be elected. As much as I also despise liberal Californians I truly can't fathom how that many of them could be that stupid to vote for her. Surely they could find a liberal with half a brain anyway.

That is a. humongous stretch.

It is just politically obtuse on Waters part. Its not more than that.

She was first elected to Congress in 1990, and she has been consistently re-elected with 70 percent of the vote.

I didn't need a history lesson. I'm just left totally amazed. What you say doesn't mean much. You could find a Trump district somewhere that would vote for him election after election after election. It just goes to show how out of touch her district is in anything but extreme liberalism.

Ummmmmmmmm. Name one prediction the left has made about Trump that actually came true. It was you, I believe, who said that Trump wouldn't make it through April.

I do not remember saying that. Could you please reproduce that?

Please remember that one need not be correct on every speculative prediction they make to engage in this business.

If you want to know why she was first elected in 1990, you have to look up the history of her congressional district and the number of elections she has successfully won.

If you put the same amount of energy into researching history that you spend on bashing liberalism, then this would not be an issue.

Which predictions did I make that have not come true?

I did predict Trump would lose the election. And I was wrong on that account. But that puts me in a very large crowd. So what else did I say?

Oh my God. We are such a mess in this country.

Her district CANNOT be out of touch with itself! Maxin's job is to represent her district to the best of her ability.

Are you out of touch with yourself? I would guess you would answer No to that question.

For all we know her district is screaming Impeach Impeach in her ear. If it is, I would suggest to her that it is still politically obtuse for her to take what might be a heartfelt consideration from her district and use the megaphone of the House to build that up to more than what it can possibly be at this point.

It is politically obtuse. But its not more than that.

Then what is the purpose in taking Trump down? Revenge, because he beat your gal?

The purpose is the pursuit of justice. And that has nothing to do with politics.

I agree, but but an impeachment that does not end in conviction would not serve justice. If he can't be indicted in a court till he leaves office, the best course might be to wait. I would like to see him indicted while in office. Screw impeachment. It's time to settle this issue in court.

The law on indicting a sitting president is not clear nor settled. And I too agree that it is time to settle this issue in court.

These kinds of voting stats exist when an elected official actually represents the constituency. Well done!!

It's all they got.

....say ALL of the right wing conspiracy theorists and closeted bigots who questioned Obama's birthright (or sat back in complete silence as their political leaders and most trusted fake news media personalities did same).

Freakin' idiots.

Ummmmmmmmm. Name one prediction the left has made about Trump that actually came true. It was you, I believe, who said that Trump wouldn't make it through April.

"A Donald Trump presidency will be the most corrupt and incompetent presidential administration in the history of the republic."

That one was dead solid. And it's the one that counts.

In truth, almost ever prediction of corruption and/or incompetence made about Trump has come true, or in well on the way to being validated.

Two things have been made abundantly clear as to where the entire political controversy with Trump and Russia will end up:

1- Trump will throw every single person under the bus who is necessary to save his own skin from legal jeopardy. This includes everyone who works for him or did work for him and includes his own children and family members.

2- Trump will bet that he can win a Senate conviction vote after House impeachment by securing the votes of at least 34 GOP Senators in his favor.

If he has to admit lies, he will do that.
If he has to change every story he ever told, he will do that.
If he has to sacrifice everyone around him to save his own sorry hide, he will do that.
If he has to admit he was a wide eyed political virgin who did not know his ass from a hole in the ground, he will do that.
And if doing all that stops the nation dead in its tracks and makes the current tribal climate even worse, he will do that too.

In the end, the only thing that matters to Trump is that Trump survive.

And then two other things will happen:

1 - Pardons will be given after Trump secures his acquittal before the Senate. At least to those who remained loyal and did not turn on him.

2 - Trump will not run again in 2020 after securing his acquittal before the Senate so he can claim he won his last battle and left on his own terms as president.

Mark it down. Bet on it.

I actually have a business idea to run by Trump after he's out of office. I'm confident that putting this prodigious plan into motion with make me and Trump billions!

My predictions:

1. Donald Trump will NOT finish his first term in office.

2. Trump will grant so many outrageously egregious pardons on his way out the door that it will prompt serious consideration of a 21st century Constitutional Convention to reform several things, including pardon power, Executive Authority and campaign finance reform.

3. Before Trump leaves office, we will see a large faction of the GOP/conservative movement (including some prominent elected officials) begin to openly embrace Putin and other leading examples of authoritarianism, in rhetoric, if not in deeds as well.

4. Upon Trump's exit, we will (once again, like clockwork) see another explosion of the various Sovereign Citizen/Nativist/Nationalist/alt-right movements in the U.S.

5. The next elected American president will have to deal with a new Republican Party.

6. Five years from now, half of the Trump acolytes will have re-written their own personal history to deny that they ever really supported him or his views (much as the pro-segregation/anti-civil rights crowd did in the years after the civil rights acts of '64 and '68)....while the other half will be spending their time trying to equate every new current event into a "worse than Trumpgate" fake-scandal.

Feel free to quote me on these. I won't be afraid to defend them.
