Kasich: 'I didn't leave the Republican Party. The Republican Party left me'

I am no purist by any means. I have no problem putting up with right-libertarians and have a few that are friends irl. But the line has to be drawn somewhere and I see way to many so-called 'libertarians' supporting the right-'populist' demagogue to be silent about it.

As you wish.

I thought I'd drop this in here for real republicans to have some hope for their party while the trumpanzees keep trying to do their best to tear the GOP apart.

Kasich: 'I didn't leave the Republican Party. The Republican Party left me'

Ohio Republican Gov. John Kasich expressed frustration with the current state of the Republican and Democratic parties Sunday amid rumors that he could pursue a 2020 presidential run. "I'm still a Republican. I didn't leave the Republican Party. The Republican Party left me," Kasich said on CNN's "State of the Union." "In my state we have balanced budgets, surplus, we're up half a million jobs
and then people say, 'Well Kasich's not a conservative.' What does that mean?"

"Come home to where we basically live," the 2016 presidential candidate added. "We should care about people from top to bottom, not just those at the top, but everybody. I can bring that party back. That's what I'm going to do in one way or another."

I still won't vote for you John Kasich, but I also won't feel like the country is headed for certain disaster if you were to get elected. And I'll be able to respect you, at least on some levels.

Apparently Kasich didn't get the memo. The Republican party does not WANT him as evidenced by his poor showing in the presidential primaries of 16. Just saying.

Why is kasich even being discussed because of his feeble presidential ambitions absolutely not. Because he's anti-Trump is the only reason.
He is 66 to 1 to win the presidency even radio host Ben Shapiro has abetter chance 40 to 1.

On every critical issue — Obamacare, guns, taxes, global warming, immigration, unions, Kasich is a Democrat, which
makes the noise surrounding his 2020 grab for the GOP nomination a joke.

The more the "Never Trumpers" try to pretend that Trump is not the GOP, the more they should be laughed at. The republican party and Trumpism didn't just begin when Trump rode down that escalator, it has been around for much much longer.

What Kasich is trying to do is build a lifeboat, believing that when the Trump ships sinks, he will be safely on the island of "both sides do it" -- Nope, not going to work John.

The guy is joining CNN's crack team of analysts. What can Kasich add to a last-place cable channel already overflowing with the only thing Kasich has to offer?
CNN is already filled with useless and uninteresting Never Trump deadwood: SE Cupp, Max Boot, Amanda Carpenter, David Frum, Anna Navarro, Mia Love, Margaret Hoover…

The conservatives they hire are more useless than the liberals fox hires.
