Trumpisms

LOL ... this Trump beaut from February of 2018 was brought to my attention tonight:

"Republicans want to fix DACA far more than the Democrats do. The Dems had all three branches of government back in 2008-2011, and they decided not to do anything about DACA. They only want to use it as a campaign issue. Vote Republican!"

Bush was president in 2008.
Dems lost the House in the November 2010 election.
DACA was announced in 2012.

"I’m not going to do anything rash or hastily — I don’t do that."

Trump still making jokes to keep our spirits up during this scary time. What a guy.

"I want them to be appreciative. I don’t want them to say things that aren’t true. We’ve done a great job."

The ironist-in-chief as he threatens to withhold aid from dying Americans in states whose governors don't suck up to his lying ass.

I like to have a convenient place to drop these gems as I come across them.

From today:

Trump: 'Immensely wealthy' Arab countries 'wouldn't last a week' without US support

“We will have a strong blockage to the Mediterranean, which to me is very important because if you don’t you have Iran going right to the Mediterranean, we aren’t going to have that."

Maybe someone here can translate that.

Trump sides with Russia against FBI at Helsinki summit - BBC News
At a news conference after the summit, President Trump was asked if he believed his own intelligence agencies or the Russian president when it came to the allegations of meddling in the elections.

"President Putin says it's not Russia. I don't see any reason why it would be," he replied.
