White men can't Jump. So, they elected Trump.

Fear of losing social status drove US voters to elect Donald Trump | Free Press Journal

Traditionally high-status Americans voted for Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election as they felt that their status in the US and the world was threatened by growing racial diversity, a study has found. It was so far believed that the white working class, having faced job losses and stagnant wages under former US President Barack Obama, voted with their pocketbooks when they chose Trump, researchers from University of Pennsylvania in the US said.

Just another lame excuse in a very long line of lame excuses on why Crooked Hillary lost the election!

It's the economy stupid!

Trump praised Nazi symps who chanted "Jews will not replace us!" during a torchlight march. He said he hates black guys counting his money, "...because laziness is a trait in blacks.”

Trump is the first out-n-out racist president since Wilson. As the article points out:

"...Trump’s rhetoric during the 2016 election capitalized on the fears of Americans who currently enjoy dominant status in society, most notably those who were white, Christian, male, or some combination of the three, they said...

...Particularly those who found societal changes threatening voted for Trump in an effort to maintain their perceived social dominance in the country and the world..."

Republicans seem to be fixated on stopping the immigration of people of color, but have open arms for white Europeans. Conservatives might be in denial about Trump's racism, but anyone else who can Google, "Trump's history of racism", knows better.

Republicans might delude themselves that adding trillions to our deficit was the reason (excuse) for voting for a racist, but liberals and independents know that for many, there was a much darker reason (excuse).

It's the white culture stupid!

And btw, it's sad that conservatives lack the common sense to learn the difference between excuses and reasons...

Studies have shown that Obama's re-election in 2012 would have never happened had minorities not come out for him in droves. Obama lost white voters by 20 points (59%-39%). No Democrat ever won the presidency despite losing white voters by such a large amount. The fact of the matter is, racial minorities were largely responsible for Obama's second term, and heck even his first term. I remember reading an article years ago that stated that had demographics in 2012 been the same as they were in 1980, that Romney would have beaten Obama in an even bigger landslide than Reagan beat Carter.

The fact that racial minorities turn out for Clinton was lower is what lost her the white house. White Republicans came out strong for Trump, but no stronger than they did for Romney (in fact slightly less). I do however have no doubt that Trump's rise to the presidency was largely based on a backlash to Obama, and the minorities who put him into office. Republicans voting for the lead birther as Obama's successor (and their obsession with "erasing" his legacy), is no doubt a collective middle finger at the Democrats and minorities for 8 years of Obama as president.
