is ISLAM a politicial agenda?....

Same as any other religion. Used by peons to raise themselves up, used by tyrants to keep people down.

It’s very clearly a religion.

Is it? I think it is with a religious' facade. If you think advocating killing every kafir as religious

Not even close. YES, there are those Muslims who use the religion to advance their own political power and as an excuse to commit crimes against humanity (and it becomes much easier to do so in nations that are wracked with poverty and sociopolitical instability e.g. Iraq, Syria)...but the same can be said of mainstream Christianity as well. But the overwhelming majority of Muslims - like those of every other religion - take their religion quite seriously.

Think about it, guy - would 1.2 billion people ALL just "fake pray" five times a day, go to the mosque and listen to the one who's speaking, and try to abide by the strictures placed upon them by Islam just because they want to advance a political agenda? Here's a clue: Sunni Saudi Arabia AND Shi'a Iran hate each other much more than they hate either Christians or Jews. Back when al Qaeda (which was Sunni) was powerful, their second-in-command Zarkawi said, "Keep up the fight against the Zionists and the Great Satan (Israel and America), but never forget that the real enemy are the apostate Shi'a."

Muslims are generally very serious about their faith. If you can't understand that, then you'll never understand them.

P.S. I am a strong Christian - but that doesn't prevent one from researching Islam.

Same as any other religion, it can be used to create a political agenda, but is not in itself one.

By the way, when linking to a source article, especially one behind a paywall, it helps to actually provide a quote so people know what you are talking about. In this case you are talking about a blog post from 2014...

Islam is an all embracing philosophy, a legal system and , of course, a totalitarian political programme. It is fundamentally anti-democratic holding that god has revealed, through a prophet, all laws for all time. That men, whether or not elected, should seek to make new laws is blasphemy.

I just don't remember the last time a Christian American killed people in the name of religion.

Yall remember that time those Christians flew planes into buildings and all the other Christian nations celebrated?

Yeah, me neither.

Islam is a religion. Islamism is a political agenda. Islamists, as opposed to Muslims in general, believe in a theocratic government run by Sharia law. You can be a Muslim without wanting that.

Yep.

Religion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, and by the rulers as useful.

You have lost this game as of post #12.

Time to apologize

And we didnt kill naive americans for not being white vhristians

Most who were deliberately killed were killed for being in the way. Most deaths though came from disease.

There was a large social justice movement in the late 19th century called Friends of the Indian who tried to save the Natives from themselves. Among other things they are responsible for the disastrous residential school program.

White social justice do-gooders trying to save minorities usually end up having the opposite impact.

Apologize for kicking your metaphorical ass?

You asked about American Christians. I gave them to you.

GAME, SET, MATCH....

Okay so assuming you can read... how many Muslims did they kill in the article you posted??

Also, did they "plot" to kill the muslims because their "god" told them too?

Now, read my OG post, and read what you posted.

It's a lot of reading, I know. But I do have faith in you son.

MOVING GOALPOSTS...

A sure sign one side has lost the argument.

The Inquisitions, the Crusades, the Reconquista, the forced conversion of millions....

We need an anti-Inquisition and Crusades task force!

All religions are political.

Eventually. Then, in my opinion they are the political weapons of powerful moneymen, not religions. There are far too many of them that have crossed that line. Look at the House of Saud and the American evangelical/dominionist movement.
