I don't know if it is fear or love that Trump has for the Russian's and Putin, but is shows every time they come up. It started when he first said the reason he would not condemn the Russians for involving themselves in our election was to have a better relationship so we could work together on Syria. We all know how well that has gone. Then he sent over 60 Russians embassy workers back to Russia and the right wing said, see, he does take action against the Russians. Now we know two things about those ejections, first we sent that number out and Russia was allowed to send the same number back in. Boy that really hurt the Russians. Tonight on the talking heads we find out that Trump was absolutely and totally anger about the number. Apparently he yelled about the number we sent home because he didn't want to send more than any of the other countries. He was quoted as saying he did not want to take the lead. He also held up the sanctions passed by congress for months before almost being forced to enforce them. Now we find out that he stopped further sanctions that had been planned. And he has still said little negative about Putin and the Russians. So why does he seem either enamored or afraid of Putin and the Russians?

He is obviously compromised. Basta.

I only read the thread tittle but Again the answer is that Trump is all about problem/solution success/fail and Putin is obviously far and away the best politician on the planet of any major rank.

That is someone to be admired and respected.

Yes, it seems that Trump admires all of the strong leaders, i.e., dictators. I think that trump wants the same power for himself. Maybe you want him to have that?

Those who get things done Trump admires.

Those who dont, especially those who whine as they dont, he dont.

Still not seeing any evidence for these claims of him being enamored, or afraid of the Russians here.

It's pretty obvious, even to the casual observer, Trump is owned by the Russians; we have a Russian mole in The White House.

Actions speak louder than words, and inaction speaks louder than actions.

One could parade the proof out for public perusal that Trump is 'owned' by the Russians and those that support Trump would still support Trump.

Many fail to see the forest for the trees.

It has become acceptable to have a serial liar & a man void of any moral character residing in The Oval Office.

Why not go a step further & make it acceptable to have a Russian in The Oval Office?

Oh, wait .......

Thefts because the claims are false.

Could have already guessed that. That has sadly been the usual method for some people on this site for quite some time now.

One of the first things Trump did after he was inaugurated was to unleash our energy production sector.

Specifically within the Energy sector, Obama’s policies were shutting down energy development. Coal mines shut down; pipelines stopped; natural gas permits held up; etc. The sum impact was higher energy costs and more reliance on imports of foreign oil etc. Importing energy resources shrinks the domestic economy (we ain’t making it) and lowers the GDP (we’re importing it).

Enter Trump.

President Trump unleashes the energy sector. Coal mines reopened (energy coal and metallurgy coking coal), pipelines approved, and LNG (liquified natural gas) permits and pipelines fast-tracked, and permits for new refineries approved. In addition to ongoing oil exploitation, the entire energy sector was quickly unleashed.

The next thing Trump did was take aim at Russia's energy-dominant position in Europe.

But enter President Donald Trump. In his brilliant speech in Warsaw, Poland, earlier this week, he called Putin’s energy bluff.

~

But in an absolutely key part of the speech, he took direct aim at Vladimir Putin’s energy bullying.

Trump said, “We are committed to securing your access to alternative sources of energy so Poland and its neighbors are never again held hostage to a single supplier of energy.” Italics are all mine.

"America stands ready to help Poland and other European nations diversify their energy supplies so that you can never be held hostage to a single supplier or, as we sometimes call it, a monopoly," Trump said.

The result:

President Trump said Tuesday that Russia isn't happy with the U.S.' success in becoming a top producer and exporter of oil and natural gas.

"We're now exporting oil and gas," Trump said. "This is not something that Russia wanted."

The U.S. is now a net natural gas exporter, which means it exports as much or more than it uses domestically. The Trump administration has made energy exports part of its geopolitical strategy to free countries from the potential stranglehold Russia has over energy supplies in Europe.

Now tell me...does this sound like someone who is "enamored/afraid of Putin and the Russians"? Hardly. Right out of the gate, Trump kicked Russia hard...right in their economic breadbasket.

When he goes to baseball games with Putin like Obama did with the Castro's then you can make inane comparisons like that. but keep up the "Trump is a russian stooge" bit. It will remind everyone how smart they were to throw the Democrat idiots out of power and how they can't be trusted to lead a kindergarten class, much less the greatest nation on Earth.

Yeah there are plenty of real things to criticize him I don't know why we need to make up new things

Tax plan, foreign relations, even his choice of food... anything but this old shtick.
