Tabloid firm bought, then buried, doorman's story about rumored Trump affair and baby, reports say

Are you mad that Trump didn’t leave those bathrooms for you that Obable was forcing on businesses, I’m sorry Trump just doesn’t understand you the way Obable did.

So you can’t refute anything either. Another con bites the dust.

Greetings, CJ. :2wave:

Just saying HI! I miss talking with you! On a note that doesn't make any difference to anyone but me - it's 73 degrees here! I'm not saying it out loud, just in case the universe didn't realize it accidently gave this area a break - which of course probably means it will revert back to the cold it usually sends our way!

Hi Lady P - glad you're doing well and the weather is improving for you. Still barely above freezing here for most of April but at least no snow.

Haven't been around here nearly as much since the Trump election - American political commentary is becoming a little too unhinged on the left, as displayed in this thread, and having a sane, rational discussion is really hard to find here.

Keep well and hope you get out in your garden soon and enjoy the sunny, warm weather to come - take care.

Gay Marriage?? Seriously?? I'd laugh if it wasn't so tragic that you equate a serious policy difference among Americans with a salacious piece of trash "journalism". Shame.

Meh, Republican messiah Donald Trump spent 5 years pushing the bogus Obama "fake birth certificate" conspiracy theory, and rode that drivel all the way to the presidency. And now you suddenly want to complain about lack of "civil discourse" today? Please, what goes around comes around.

Speaking of birther theories, what happened to the chosen one's team of investigators he supposedly sent to Hawaii back in 2011 to investigate the "Obama birth certificate scandal". 7 years Later and we STILL haven't heard anything about that: Trump sends investigators to Hawaii to look into Obama ? You should spew birther nonsense at someone who gives a **** about it. My disagreements with President Obama related, basically, to his non-existent foreign policy that left the world in a mess and his major domestic policies that seemed to rest solely on creating as much division in the nation as he could to further his own political interests.

Secondly, anyone here at DP who knows me and knows my political positions knows full well that I was supportive of Jeb Bush for the Republican nomination and the Presidency, and had Americans felt the same your country would be in far better shape than it is now. In no way are you going to saddle me with the rise and election of Donald Trump.

I never saddled with you anything. You aren't an American citizen who votes in our elections. However, it was your fellow American right wing brethren who chose this idiot over 16 other GOP candidates, including Jeb Bush, in the GOP primaries. And you can't suddenly bash the left over lack of 'civil discourse" when American Republican voters and their own damn president spent 8 years acting like anything BUT "civil", and pushing all sorts of tabloid BS conspiracy theories, including the famous birther nonsense that was pushed for YEARS by the current Republican president.

There were a lot of things Obama did before he was president that conservatives whined and cried about during his presidency. Sit back bucko, it's going to be a bumpy ride.

Liberals ignored everything Obama did.

And maybe if your memory allows you to go back a few more years you'll remember how the left treated Bush II, even producing and releasing a movie about assassinating President Bush. My simple point is that the level of derangement on the left over President Trump is monumental and very unhealthy both for the individuals concerned and for your nation as a whole. You also look like complete idiots from those of us on the outside looking in.

And then maybe, if your memory allows you, remember on how the right acted during the Clinton years, including Limbaugh pushing conspiracy theories that the Clinton's were murderers. But meh, you don't care, only the "left" is the problem in your eyes.

And i don't know if you realize, the only ones looking like idiots are the Trump administration, the GOP, and his supporters. It's why you have a record number of GOP politicians "retiring", leaving the ship before it sinks all the way to the bottom.

Sorry, but if you think the media's coverage and constant drum beat against President Trump is anything remotely similar to what it was for Obama, Bush, and Clinton, you just weren't paying attention. As a person who faithfully watched CNN starting back when Judy Woodruff and Bernard Shaw were the lead anchors at night, and when that cable network was actually interested in news and is now only interested in covering what the National Enquirer rejects as unworthy of coverage, I can fully attest that your nation's media is circling the drain.

I don't really take the right's complaints about the "media" seriously, especially given that Trump's rise to the presidency was largely based on him taking advantage of the media for his own personal gain. The media gave that clown so much free air time, that he single handily took over the entire GOP primaries, and made it all about him. He did this all while bashing the media to make himself sympathetic to his fan base. BTW, I don't know if you conveniently forgot, or did not know, but the first time Trump ever attacked that media was...you guessed it, Fox News, back during the first GOP debate.

Donald Trump Slams Fox News, Refuses to Do Any More Interviews With Them | E! News

Kind of ironic, isn't it? The same Fox News the president lavishes praise on now almost daily, was the SAME major media network he attacked back during the beginning of his rise to the presidency. Ironic indeed.

I have no direct knowledge to back it up, but it seemed pretty clear to me that the powers that be at CNN decided that Donald Trump was the best Republican candidate for their chosen President, Hilary Clinton, to run against - easiest for her to beat. That is why, leading up to the conventions and during the primaries, CNN was wall to wall favorable Trump interviews and coverage. However, once Trump had secured the nomination, CNN went into attack mode and had nothing but Trump hit pieces trying to tear him down prior to the election. Funny thing, however, Clinton was so despised by large parts of the country and alienated by the Sanders crowd that felt cheated by the DNC and Clintonites that CNN couldn't destroy the monster they helped create. Now, they feel so butt hurt that every waking hour at CNN is spent trying to destroy your country's President. That's how sad the state of the national media in the US has become.

Way to go at completely ignoring everyone I stated about Fox News, only to focus on the usual things you despise. CNN, Hillary, DNC, etc.

And Trump is destroying his own presidency dude. There's a reason why the past two Bush president's (who you claim to like), don't want anything to do with him. There's a reason why Republicans are retiring left and right, and it has nothing to do with CNN or Hillary Clinton.

Oh, and so what if CNN supposedly changed their "coverage" of Trump? As I stated (which you ignored), Fox did the same thing. They hated that idiot when he was first running, and then when it became inevitable that they had no choice but to support him, they suddenly started kissing his ass, and still do so to this day. If any monster was created, it's the GOP base that rejected 16 other GOP candidates for a loud mouth birther like Donald Trump. And now the GOP is stuck with that monster, that is destroying them from within.
