Trump's contradicting tweets

Two tweets within one hour:

Hmmm, maybe he got a reminder call? Seems strange within one hour he tells Russia to get ready then states there is no reason for a bad relationship.

If you had ever read "Art of the Deal" you might understand what the President is doing.

I hope all you Lefties keep playing Checkers against His Chess.

Trump has "bi-polar Tweeting Syndrome". The cure is to vote him out of office in 2020 so he can get help.

The first Tweet was probably written by Bolton. Then someone who isn't itching to go to war wrote the second Tweet for him.

You best hope Putin has read Art of the Deal. More like Art of the Con.

When Trump Tweets
Russia needs us to help with their economy, something that would be very easy to do
What he means by that, is Building more Trump Hotels and Resorts in Russia.

Trump play chess? :lamo He is playing Candyland at best.

Leftist have been saying that since the first day he got into politics as a Republican. Yet he has won everything, and on top of that by every objective measure America is a better place than it was 18 months ago or any time in the 8 years before.

What did you crawl out of your prepper bunker after Obama's 8 years was up?

I'll bet he plays a mean game of Chutes and Ladders with his Slovenian captive on game night at Mar-A-Lago.

That's funny but it's also kind of sad, it makes me feel bad for the kid because this is obviously so much a joke to picture them spending quality time like that together. My favorite times are game night with the family and always has been. Maybe some people don't cherish those kind of things but to me it's important.

Short term horse dung policy only results in short term sugar highs. I don't know what objective measures you are using. But there is no evidence whatsoever, that this country is in a better place today than it was 18 months ago. 8 years ago, its president was trying to climb us out of the worst financial crisis since the great depression and save two US auto makers from collapse. So on the specific day when he was trying to do that and until he accomplished it, we were in a worse place 8 years ago.

Wall St nimrods were greedy enough and unscrupulous enough to come within a hair's breadth and a president's decisions of crashing the largest financial structure in the history of the world, an event that would have thrown the entire world into at least a giant recession and us into another depression. Would hate to say what would happen in that exact circumstance today. Wilber Ross and Navarro would be off playing with their tin cans again and trump would be hopelessly out of his element. The sharpest tack of the bunch is Mnuchin in that regard and I have my doubts about his abilities as well.

We have one segment of the population that is oblivious enough to think its the cats meow at present. They are blinded by everything but the one holy mission they are on and think makes sense for this country. Other than that I just have no idea what you are talking about.

I guess that explains why he abolished Obamacare and totally fixed it with an excellent healthcare plan and got full funding for his border wall from the American people that Mexico was supposed to pay for.

He has six and a half more years to win those too, but he has actually already won both.

With the IRS mandate gone Obamacare is as dead as dog****, with those bureaucracies fading healthcare will improve.

With Trumps new trade deals Mexico is already paying for a wall. 150 Americans a day die from Mexican drugs, a higher American body count than any war we ever fought. Mexico itself is a more dangerous country than Afghanistan. With those facts and the new Military budget he wont need congress approval to build a wall.

By time the Obama entered office the worst of the recession was over. His policies are why it was the slowest recovery in US history.

Obamas average GDP growth was 1.5% when Trump entered office Obama had it down to 1.2%. Trump repeals all of Obamas executive orders and GDP growth has averaged 3% since.

I'm fairly sure...

And you are absolutely wrong.

Trump has called on the world to work together on a wide variety of issues...on many occasions.

Thats a laugh. I lived the thing. Did you? It did not hit till the financial collapse of 2008 and fully hit until 2009 which Oh my, happens to be the year Obama took office.

Obama growth rates for those years starting with 2009 are in order: -2.8%, 2.5%, 1.6%, 2.2%, 1.7%, 2,4%, 2.6%, 1.9%. I don't know what math you are using nor what logic you are using to claim the recession was "over" when Obama took office January in 2009.

The Obama presidency was a failed presidency in my estimation. We have not really had much of a president for years and years. My complaints about the Obama presidency focus much on his inability to break through the log jam the GOP set up for him after his first two years in office and the reliance on executive orders and ensued. Finally, the absolute death of any chance that I would have considered Obama a successful president came when he ran for reelection without the fortitude to carry his party into the House with him thus making for 6 straight years of a presidency without House support. That is frankly unconscionable and for me an unforgivable lapse. I would however suggest that while I have been much disappointed with every president we have had since Reagan a man I had little agreement with and who had many faults I have to say that IMO we have gone steadily downhill to the point now where we have President Bozo and his cabinet from hell. Even Bush Sr had his one bright shining moment.

Obama was not much of a president. But to cut out from him having lead us out of a financial disaster great enough that we were a few presidential decisions away from crashing the largest financial system in the history or the world while salvaging two US auto manufacturers is beyond any reasoned discussion and way into whacko world. We were a hairs breadth from another great depression this time accompanied by worldwide recession. While his steady hand was IMO too steady for the period of his 8 years, too compromising, too interested in achieving some balance as opposed to achieving more than that, it was exactly what we needed when his presidency started. I shiver to think what President Bozo would have done in a similar situation.

As for what Obama handed Trump, other than circumstances that were actually handed to Obama and unresolved during his presidency, he handed trump the most stable economic environment any president has been handed in 20-30 years. He handed trump a perfect scenario for dealing with the deep structural issues we have in this economy and trump promptly wasted that opportunity on a tax plan with corporate breaks far too deep and inconsequential for most Americans and has settled for willy nilly corrupt Deregulation when thoughtful, effective and efficient deregulation is what we needed.

All ending the IRS mandate did was to ensure that the deadbeats who don't have insurance could still skip out on emergency room bills and not have to pay a tax to defray the cost to the rest of us. The rest of the ACA is still the law of the land.

Tariffs on Mexican goods don't mean Mexico will pay. US consumers will pay.

Mexican cartels only find the US a lucrative market due to our appetite for illegal drugs. No one from Mexico or anywhere else forces these substances down anyone's throat, or into anyone's veins.

and did so successfully. It was the cooperation of several nations that ended Iran's nuclear arms program, for example.

Edit: I misread the post I was responding to. Yes, I know my response makes no sense. I'll be more careful in the future.

he is right there is no reason for the strained relationship, except for putin and his support for mad deranged dictators.

And he has attacked globalization, the UN, appointed Bolton who has said the UN literally doesn't exist, has attacked our allies, berated half a dozen nations for various issues (Mexico, some African nations, I really can't remember them all), won on a campaign of "America First" (At the expense of everyone else).

And you're here telling us that because Trump ALSO tweets bull**** about "Let's all work together!", that it magically turns water into wine?

Oh the faithful.

shrug...

You are certainly free to trot out your laundry list of Trump **** stains...but that still doesn't make you correct when you say **** like this: "I'm fairly sure this is the first time he's suggested the world work together on anything."

Deadbeats do that with or without Obamacare. The bureaucracies disappearing will make healthcare cheaper.

Trump getting the factories to move back to the US so tariffs are not an issue has Mexico paying.

A wall makes it a lot harder for the cartels to get the drugs here, that is what is needed.
