Retiring GOP lawmakers cut loose on Trump

Heres where it gets tricky for me. Can you say if these people are just in it to line their pockets with money or they are devoute enough to put thrir money ehere their mouth is bybinvesting in a principle they believe in.

Im not defending devos or comdemning them. Im wondering how we differentiate between altruism and greed?

I swear to you on a stack of Bibles, this is not as simple as altruism versus greed.
This is a weaponized form of ultra-pure libertarianism which teaches that darwinism and neo-malthusianism is the core and foundation of a larger set of values.

If it were just simple greed or just allegiance to a principle they believe in, they wouldn't be openly stating a belief that public institutions MUST be DESTROYED. It's one thing to state that you won't lend support to something that goes against your principles.
Pro-life people refuse to support institutions or candidates that are aligned with Planned Parenthood.
Go a few notches up and you get the folks who bomb a clinic or try to assassinate a doctor.

Okay, DeVos doesn't want to "bomb public schools"...true enough.
She wants to do her level best to make them FAIL, to the point where they are completely unworkable, destitute, crumbling, dangerous, unstaffed and unsustainable.
I call that a "slow motion" bombing campaign. Your mileage may vary.
Scott Pruitt is known for having SUED the EPA FOURTEEN TIMES.
He has stated repeatedly in his past career that his goal was to dismantle the EPA altogether.
Now he is HEAD of the EPA.

I don't know how I can make it any clearer.

I want to start a thread about Flake's spinelessness today. Switched is vote on Trump's NASA appointment because Pence wasn't around to break the tie. Apparently his no vote was just for show. He talks tough -- but he folds whenever his vote is needed.

But I'm afraid to start a new thread! So many subforums. So many rules. :)
