The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 50% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Forty-nine percent (49%) disapprove.

Trump’s overall job approval rating is now running ahead of where Barack Obama’s was at this stage of his presidency.

According to one tracking poll. I wish people would stop cherry picking a single poll that looks best for them and treating it like it’s fact. Gives all polling a bad name.

Rasmussen is a pathetic joke. No president in recorded history has had an administration with as low an approval rating as has trump

You should consult the RCP averages for Obama at this same point versus Trump today. You will find your OP is wrong. I mean, if you want to do it honestly and not as a partisan.

538’s feature lists the approval ratings of all previous administrations since Truman. Several hit lower points.

Out of all the pollsters Rasmussen is the only one that shows that. Hence, it is an outlier.

I am sure that some have hit lower points, but if you take his first year in total. its been a disaster.

Dude, you might want to do a search and review of my comments about Trump before you go making idiotic claims. I have a CLEAR record of being against him FULLY. Just because I showed your comment to be untrue does not make me despise Trump any less.

One side feeling ok lying and misleading about the other side and feeling justified because of how “horrible” that side is, is one of the biggest problems with our political society today.

It’s not the only poll doing it. Just the only one doing it every day. And that gives less reason to give absolute credence to any one day anyway. Rasmussen had Trump at minus 8 last week. There hasn’t been any huge news likely to change it since then, nor has that movement been found anywhere else. Tracking polls are super noisy, especially Rasmussen whose Trump approval margin frequently deviates by upwards of 10% in a week.
 
Polls are only as good as the ones cherry picked to poll. Both parties are guilty of cherry picking for polling purposes. Makes polls pretty much useless other than to inflate or deflate an ego.
