Trump's public lies about "The Wall". Simply amazing and so truly sad........:(

Razor thin margins means "dominated"?

We seem to run around this bush repeatedly: Defining a politician in Washington as either Republican or Democrat is citing a distinction that has no difference.

There are establishment thieves in Congress that have large staffs and huge budgets enriching themselves at our expense with only one goal: to get re-elected.

Why would anyone want to address the issue without also addressing the cause? We "solved" this issue in the Reagan years by granting amnesty and approving border security. Amnesty happened and border security never did.

Now the lying thieves in Congress, and you, exhort the exact, identical approach to the same, exact, identical issue that was never addressed to satisfaction or corrected.

This indicates a deep and ongoing sickness. What end are you hoping the same approach will achieve this time that was missed last time?

Insanity. n. mental illness of such a severe nature that a person cannot distinguish fantasy from reality, cannot conduct her/his affairs due to psychosis, or is subject to uncontrollable impulsive behavior.

In your parallel universe, maybe the Congress isn't divided on party lines. Here, it is a scourge and is keeping Congress dysfunctional.

Perhaps in your parallel universe, Congress is contemplating once again granting a general amnesty to illegals. Here, that is not the case.

Perhaps in your parallel universe human beings can be stopped by building a border wall. Here, we have airplanes, we have people adept at making tunnels, and we have boats that can go around the wall.

Congress has been talking about a wall since long before Trump even became a Republican, let alone ran for president. The purpose of that talk is what it has always been: To fool voters into thinking that they are doing something about illegal immigration, when they actually are not. Nothing substantial has been done about this issue since the Eisenhower Administration.

So the protective benefits of walls and security measures are a fantasy, huh?

It seems like wherever I look I see walls and security. I would bet that when you read this, you will be reading it behind walls.

I would further bet that when you sleep this evening, you will do so in a secured area behind walls, locked doors and perhaps an activated alarm system.

In most buildings that I enter, there are metal detectors, guards and checkpoints. Walls and locked doors and security measures work. That, of course is in the real world where I live, in the world you live, perhaps not. At the Pacers Game on Thursday night, a 20 point win over Golden state, there were various cops and various checkpoints and a metal detector to get to the place to scan the ticket bar code.

There are many things in your world with which I'm unfamiliar.

Congress is divided along party lines. However, they are divided for purposes of fund raising only. Our Political Parties employ and trade positions on wedge issues to fool the weak minded into giving them money and power.

The real world has little to do with the Party Faithful so things like improving economic figures and so forth are now interpreted by Democrats as racism.

You are loyal to a party with an alternate and alternating view of reality. If anything actually works to accomplish the stated goal, the Democrat Party is against it. If anything changes the Staus Quo, the Republican party is against it.

The only differences I can see between the two parties involve the methods used to tell the lies to get the money.

In fact, the number of deportable illegal immigrants located by the US Border Patrol plummeted by more than 89 percent over the five-year period during which the controversial new fence was built, according to Homeland Security data I reviewed.

When the project first started in 2006, illegal crossings totaled 122,261, but by 2010, when the 131-mile fence was completed from one end of El Paso out into the New Mexico desert, immigrant crossings shrank to just 12,251.

They hit a low of 9,678 in 2012, before slowly ticking back up to a total of 25,193 last year.

But they’re still well below pre-fence levels, and the Border Patrol credits the fortified barrier dividing El Paso from Mexico for the reduction in illegal flows.

1 The US is not a building.
2 Yes, I know. My world is what we call the "real world."
3. Yes, and to keep the funds rolling in, they have to vote the party line.
4. I am not loyal to any political party. I'm an equal opportunity party basher.
5. Agreed.
6. You speak as if the Great Wall of Trump were a reality. It is not, of course. Nevertheless, the number of illegals crossing the border has been going down since the Bush Administration, which makes me wonder just why we need a military presence and an expensive wall.

It is quite clear both parties still want to continue exploiting cheap labor by illegal aliens. Trump has not stopped trying to fulfill his campaign promises the people wanted. It is the party of resistance and the do nothing party that are stopping every project the American people elected Trump to try and accomplish. It is more than clear both parties do not work for the people but the rich and powerful who own them.

The US is a sovereign State.

Interesting lack of touch with reality you express. Much like CNN.

A large group of Hondurans is planning to enter the US illegally via Mexico and CNN reports that Trump is not right in Tweeting about it. is that really the story in this?

Might be good to have the folks entering our country doing so legally.

Yes, it is a sovereign state. It is not a building.
And yet, you cite CNN.
Turning themselves over to the border patrol and asking for asylum is not entering illegally.
This is not an army marching on our border. It is a group of refugees fleeing violence in their home countries. Meeting them with the US military is not appropriate nor is it necessary. Trump and his liberal spenders don't seem to mind throwing away taxpayer money by mobilizing the military and building unnecessary walls.

The spending bill was the creation of the lying thieves in Congress.

Why do you choose to call the Hondurans an "army"?

Violence alone is not justification for Sanctuary. There must be violence directed at a particular group of which the refugee is a part.

Do you have wall defining your domicile?

In the real world, people are concerned with their own security and laws. Here's a short list of national security companies. You may not care about security and laws.

You should.

"I am not a crook."
"I did not have sex with that woman."
"Iraqis have WMD."
"I will not raise taxes."
"I was out of the loop."

Quotes from recent Presidents, all lies. Gosh, precedents common as horse turds. I'm not saying it's right, just current reality.

Not at the rate this president lies. I don't think any president in history lies as much or as stupidly as this one does. DO you?

Politicians and lies, same as white on rice. OTOH, Trump seems to be going for the record.
