Roseanne Barr: I Don't Want To See Trump Fail!

Barr asked, like she meant it to sting, if Kimmel had supported Clinton during the election.

“Never mind her!” Kimmel shot back, having none of that. “How about the Capt. Whacko we’ve got running the country here?!”

Barr insisted she has not changed over the year, but “you all moved — you all went so f*ckin far out you lost everyone.”

She cautioned Kimmel and his audience against wanting to see Trump fail. “Because we don’t want [Mike] Pence,” which is a pretty effective argument.

“You want Pence for the fr*ckin President? Well then zip that f*ckin lip!” she told Kimmel.

Besides, she told the audience, it's up to all of us to make it work no matter who the President is.

Roseanne's show was about poor White working class people. That's her audience.

I imagine if Al Bundy were a real person he would be a Trump supporter just like Roseanne. I can imagine Archy Bunker being a Trump supporter too.

Regarding Trump, he's simply incompetent. There are those who support him because he's on Team Red and there those who support him because they're just not very bright and got conned.

Sorry, but No. After the way, President Obama was treated by the right that's a big nope. Trump ran around the country trying to convince his mindlessly racist base that President Obama was a secret Muslim born in Kenya and as a result, not a legitimate president. Republicans did everything in their power to oppose everything Obama did and undermine his attempts to fix the mess that their boy Bush created.

This country was already on an incredibly good track going into the 2016 elections. There is nothing Trump can or will do to improve it, and almost everything he has done so far has made us all worse off. I refuse to let Trump succeed because success for him is the destruction of everything that is good about this country in the first place.

Pence is a **** head too, but at least he is not an overt criminal that gives us yet another reason to impeach him every week. He at least has some governing experience. The state of Indiana at least didn't file for bankruptcy during his governorship. That's more than can be said for most of Trump's companies.

I think she made a good point about Pence. So many people on the left get so obsessed with Trump that they forget about Republicans. We should remember that almost every other candidate in the primary was to the right of Trump. He's an absolute emotional mess of a human being, but someone that could more efficiently push hard right policy would be a complete nightmare. I have no time for the idea that the Democratic party has swung wildly to the left. Compare FDR to Clinton or Obama. The long term trend has been towards the right.
 
President Pence is only a threat if we DO NOT replace the Republican majorities with Democrat majorities in the House and Senate this November. With Democrat majorities in both chambers of Congress, Pence will be muzzled and on a short leash, and no matter how bad his politics are, he's not bat**** crazy.

now do I think he WILL be successful? no, noting seems to hint to that so far, but again i hope im completely wrong.

True. Like I said prior to DJT being elected. It doesn't really matter who is president because I know, with 100% certainty, my family and I will prosper. DJT being elected is a bonus. If the left entertained the same mentality, they just might find a glimmer of happiness in their dismal lives.

I would prefer Mike Pence as president. At least he wouldn't act like a Russian puppet and he would act presidential.

Trump is a real danger to our country. He's a ticking timebomb of stupidity.
