On the other hand, protectionist trade policy is not a conservative idea. Over at the National Review they are averaging two anti-tariff essays an issue these days.

Once upon a time being a man of the left meant being pro-labor. Nowadays it's identity politics and Marxist claptrap and as anti-working class as you can get. The modern day left winger absolutely despises the working class. They despise normal white cis gendered folks. The question is, I think, what sort of weirdo would ever be a person of the left? so I think the overall point is we will be happy to listen to criticism, but we will not listen to anyone from the Democrat Party(or anyone who votes solid democrat) to judge and attempt to shame us. It's just pro ultra rich and self dealing. It's complete looting of this country for the rich. The rich have already gotten billions in tax cuts they don't need, and on top of that, Trump admin is trying to destroy all protection of the people from the corporations. Allow them to loot the national parks, pollute rivers, trying to privatize schools, prisons, more money to defense contractors, remove financial restrictions that they used to steal billions and sink the economy, remove all roadblocks protecting the people from corporate malfeasance.



The US is basically no longer of the people, by the people, for the people, but of the corporations, by the corporations, for the corporations. I am not a leftist. I am anti Trump. There is a huge difference. At least I never have been. I supported McCain and Romney. I heavily favored Kasich/Rubio/Cruz over Trump, Clinton or Sanders. Now however, I would vote Obama in as president for life and I would vote to allow him to personally name a successor if it meant Trump being removed. To me there is absolutely nothing worse that that piece of trash being in office and I will be voting and encouraging as many people as possible (and I have been and will continue to do so in real life) to vote extreme left until Trump and everyone who supported him and everything he has done is wiped from our government and policies. As far as blasting Bill Clinton I was a in my teens when he was in office so I was not overly concerned with politics at the time.
The absolute biggest hypocrites I have ever seen are on the right. The way you blast Bill Clinton and hated him because he was immoral and then support Trump who is quite possibly the most immoral human being to ever serve in the White House it flat out stupid.

Now as far as what you will listen to it won't matter. Trump has motivated people to get out and vote against the right. Trump snuck in because no one took him seriously. Now those people are forced to take him seriously and as recent elections have proven people there are millions of Americans just like me who don't care who gets into office as long as they will oppose Trump. Trump and his supporters will usher in an extreme left wing wave like America has never seen. The fallout will be because of Trump. It is coming to an end. The right are losing elections and when the left take back congress they can stall Trump until the voters can fix what is easily the worst mistake of the modern US. There isn't anything factual in your statement. Trying to piggy back on Obama's economy like that is some miraculous feat is pathetic. Our economy was **** under Obama and it is **** now. Terrorism in the world still running rampant and Trump isn't doing anything about it. The strides we do make in fighting terrorism belong to the men and women who are actually out there fighting, not the cheetoh looking fat ass tweeting his rage against celebrities. The country is not doing fine. We have disgusting rates of poverty. We have appalling rates of imprisonment. Our education systems sucks. Our healthcare system sucks. We spend so much money on military bullying the world and too little improving our country. our patent system is under attack and in decline. We are losing out on scientific research. We are behind in green energy initiatives and other technology sectors. Our infrastructure is crumbling. The wealth disparity in this country is out of control. People are working longer and harder for less and less money. Most people will have no savings and can never retire because they barely are getting paid enough to get by.

Don't tell me this country is doing fine. THis nonsense is unsustainable.

And how can you be so dishonest talking about "liberal perspective" when the entire Trump campaign, the entire RNC was about doom and gloom about how horrible this country was and how Trump was going to make it great.

We've had disgusting rates of poverty for decades or even centuries. Some of the most disgusting poverty rates are in the liberal bastions of California and New York. Our education system isn't any different under Trump than it was under Obama. Trump is fighting other countries over the patent thing. That's a Trump thing. The biggest wealth disparity is also in the liberal bastions of California and New York, proving that liberal policies don't work. You accuse Trump and the right of being about doom and gloom and yet your whole liberal viewpoint is about doom and gloom. Why do you hate our country so much? It is the best country on the planet. You had eight years under Obama. Why isn't the country already a liberal Utopia?

First, as I've said elsewhere, Trump himself I don't think has much of an ideology. In my mind, Trump is as I describe him here:

Trump is a jellyfish; he's by no means ideologically. He's not heavily wedded to anything really. Rather than acting on a set of principles, or an ideological view, I believe he acts on his "gut" at any given moment. This plays into him being a very emotional, inpetuous, reactive, oppertunistic type of person.

When I hear Trumpism, however, I think less of an ideology he himself strictly follows and more of the ideological makeup of his most fervent followers and the fashion in which he campaigned and, primarily, has governed. This would be similar to the notion of the "alt-right", and as such I would describe Trumpism in the same way I summed up the Alt-Right's generalized ideological views here:

As a traditionalist movement, it naturally does establish itself as being "anti" many of the things you'd find on the "american left", as a large pillar of the american left is "progressivism" which is basically the tradionalists opposite entity.
