Rap star whines about taxes... in NYC

It's tax season, and Cardi B is not a happy camper. The New York City native, 25, took to social media on Thursday launching into a fast-paced rant about how she was unhappy at the rate she was being taxed, as well as not seeing any sort of return on her dollar.
'So you know the government is taking 40 percent of my taxes and Uncle Sam, I want to f***ing know what you're doing with my f***ing tax money!' she said.

The MotorSport artist said she wanted an itemized list of places where the money went, comparing the taxes to charitable donations.
'When you donate, like, to a kid from a foreign country, they give you updates of what they're doing with your donation,' she said. 'I want updates on my tax money!'

Exactly why do you think that someone that votes Dem therefor should never expect their politicians to use their tax dollars appropriately? This is like saying that you can't be mad if Trump starts a preeptive war with North Korea because you voted for the party that's more hawkish. Voting Republican doesn't mean "we always start pre-emptive wars, **** everything else" and voting democrat doesn't mean "we tax you however we want and spend it how ever we want, go **** yourself".

So I guess that's my long winded way of saying: Hack thread is hacky. :monkey:2dance::fart2:sword::2dancing:

There was no "turn this about". I didn't try to flip it and say that the other side was worse. I was just pointing out that your conclusion is not warranted (and gave an example of an equally unwarranted conclusion similar to yours) unless you can provide some actual logic behind it. You are acting as though all dems believe that the government has no responsibility in how they spend our tax dollars. That's bull****. Please tell me how I'm wrong if you disagree. I'd love for you to actually explain how I'm wrong for once, rather than changing topic or making a snappy remark.

It does seem kind of wrong to me that after all that African-Americans have suffered in this country that an African-American artist would have to pay the same taxes that over-privileged wealthy trust-fund baby Ivy League legacy admits pay.

A closer look at Oklahoma's 4-day school week

Red states are poor states. And they've been mostly a disaster under Republican leadership.
