Rick Tyler, a Republican strategist, believes Trump is going to fire Mueller at some point.

I'm personally not convinced this will be Trumps action, not yet anyways. Too many people have cautioned Trump not to do this, and it will echo Nixon in Watergate too greatly for the public to tolerate.

It doesn't appear Mueller will be able to tie any sort of conspiracy around Trump's neck. The most likely legal case Mueller has against Trump, is probably related to an obstruction of justice abuse. While that was enough to trigger articles of impeachment that had GOP support against Nixon in the 70's, it's not something Republicans today are going to impeach Trump for.

With that being the case, Trump can lie, ignore the grand jury subpoenas, refuse to be interviewed, pardon anybody close to him that is indicted, and the GOP will do nothing about it.

So he doesn't really need to fire Mueller, since the GOP will have his back regardless of what is discovered.

Highly Highly Doubtful.

Trump has not been training his whole life only to wreck the biggest showdown of his life.

Where would the fun be in that?

1. Trump congratulates Putin after staff tells him not to
2. Trump reshuffles legal team ten days after he said he wasn't planning to

3. I don't even think cult45 cares if Trump fires Mueller, or knows why that's bad.

Trump is aware of GOP leadership telling him not to do it, and WH staff says that Trump isn't planning to fire Mueller, but they can't know what he is going to do.

After November, if dems take the house, things are going to change. I don't think he will fire Mueller. he will fire Sessions and replace him with someone one won't recuse and who will narrow Mueller's scope. See, trump is confident there is no collusion, and he is probably right. so what is his problem?

His business and finances, that's what he's worried about. He's committed crimes. What else could it be?

Sessions will "unrecuse" himself if Trump really wants him to -- he's done before.

I wish he would just to shut the TDS dreamers up. You and your echo chamber has created a mole hill hoping to become a mountain.

I hope he does just to cement the GOP's fate in November.

The R's run most of the states, it will matter less than you think, especially now that people are starting to notice how badly this entire system and everyone who runs it sucks.

The Rebellion has begun.

FUN will be had.

AND JUSTICE

Yeah, no kidding. It's funny watching kookers foam at the mouth every time DJT and Mueller are mentioned in the same leftist propaganda machine report.

What would be even funnier is to watch the reaction of the kook left if DJT does fire that worthless leftist.

It's hard to argue with the logic in the video ...

Nixon called the Watergate investigation a "witch hunt", too. How did that work out for him?

Firing Mueller won't stop the investigation...so what would be the point? The only reason there is a special council is because Trump fired Comey.

Like the video guests, I think Trump might try to fire Sessions, too...and replace him with someone who will do his bidding without question and then have him fire Mueller and have him replaced with someone from FoxNews.

The public is weary of these congressional witch hunts on both sides. But most of us recognize that it is in our national security interests to get to the bottom of the Russian interference, collusion and obstruction...and I think many of the silent republicans think so, too. At least I hope they do...because their silence is disturbing and seems to give Trump the green light to undermine and make a mockery of our justice and security agencies at a time when we need them most. This can only benefit Putin.

If it is his business it will be his business with the Russians. It will also be systematic obstruction combined with a series of quid pro quo actions for Putin after his election. You do know it was the Russians that illegally hacked the DNC under Putin's orders right? Even knowing about that hack without reporting it is a violation.

Perhaps not his whole life, but the dossier says the Russians were training Trump for over five years to run for president...and he's still getting advice from them.

Trump is the Moscowian candidate.

The difference is that Republicans can't hold Trump accountable, even if they wanted to.

Though Trumps approval ratings are at record lows, among conservative minded people he still has the majority of the demographic at his finger tips. Most polls show that most people that voted for Trump, identify as Trump supporters first, and Republicans second.

That means GOP Congressmen are caught between a rock and a hard place politically. If they stand by Trump they lose moderates and independents, but if they turn on him they lose half of their base, and lose elections for sure.

It makes more sense for them to either retire, or ride out the chaos and hope for the best. So, if Trump ignores grand jury subpoenas to testify, pardons people, withholds evidence, or fires Mueller altogether, there is nothing they can or will do about.

The Thing that U dont understand, and this is hard for me say being a friend and all....is that NYC is a much tougher environment than is Moscow.

I will keep my money on Trump IF U DONT MIND!

Obama was not completely wrong.

U UNDERSTAND!

EDIT for the dim: That Russia is now a third world country, barely, and only because of the nukes.

Why then are we scared?

Interesting question.

NO?

It wasn't my intention to make you believe in the apocalypse.:(

Even if Trump fires Mueller, his records and findings will not just disappear. You can bet the Democrats will call Mueller to the hill, with testimony that will be heard around the world.

And who knows what NY is up to.

My wife is a ****ing RUSSIAN INTERROGATOR who did some spooky stuff in Germany before the wall came down, and who the CIA came to get in Iraq when none of their guys could break their own sources..

Dont let your imagination get too wild....

I jest...sort of.

So Democrats are our only hope? I wish I could find comfort in that.

NY could be the last stand. But Trump can still fire the DA.

Where's Superman when we need him?

Why didn't you say that in the first place?

I'm sure your wife appreciates you outing her as a CIA operative on a public forum that might be infiltrated with Russian trolls. lol

With friends like you who needs enemies?
