Will Trump Fire Mueller?

I jest...sort of.

So Democrats are our only hope? I wish I could find comfort in that.

NY could be the last stand. But Trump can still fire the DA.

Where's Superman when we need him?
DA's and the the state Attorney General are not the same office.

Trump can fire any DA he wants, but he has **** all authority over Schneiderman, whom is instead an elected official. If Schneiderman decides to appoint a special counsel on behalf of NY, there will be nothing Trump can do to stop it.

My wife is my sex slave, as I am sure I have mentioned.

U and Me R working on different layers of the onion.

We all need 2 B Clear about that..

I never doubted it. lol

Not just different layers...but different dimensions in parallel universes.

The difference is that Republicans can't hold Trump accountable, even if they wanted to.

Though Trumps approval ratings are at record lows, among conservative minded people he still has the majority of the demographic at his finger tips. Most polls show that most people that voted for Trump, identify as Trump supporters first, and Republicans second.

That means GOP Congressmen are caught between a rock and a hard place politically. If they stand by Trump they lose moderates and independents, but if they turn on him they lose half of their base, and lose elections for sure.

It makes more sense for them to either retire, or ride out the chaos and hope for the best. So, if Trump ignores grand jury subpoenas to testify, pardons people, withholds evidence, or fires Mueller altogether, there is nothing they can or will do about.

None of that is true. If actual evidence of high crimes or misdemeanors comes forward, republicans will hold Trump accountable. Republican will not go after Trump just because loony leftists are still in meltdown over the 2016 election

If it is his business it will be his business with the Russians. It will also be systematic obstruction combined with a series of quid pro quo actions for Putin after his election. You do know it was the Russians that illegally hacked the DNC under Putin's orders right? Even knowing about that hack without reporting it is a violation.

Maybe, as I see it, Mueller will indict, at the minimum, Aiding and Abetting Russian Mafia/Oligarchs in their money laundering schemes ( going back to the 80s) , obstruction of justice, and possibly other stuff like you mentioned. I'm not convinced there is hard evidence of "collusion" but the fact that he did biz with Cambridge Analytica, and they supplied FB user data demographcis to a russian proxy, stinks to high heaven, we shall see.
