(CNN)News outlets have reported that President Donald Trump has decided to replace his national security adviser, H.R. McMaster with John Bolton. Trump is supposedly waiting to announce the decision until he can find a good next posting for McMaster, who remains an active-duty Army general.

The rationale is that this would be more dignified for McMaster. But of course, leaking the news of his imminent firing has had the opposite effect. And it not only humiliates the general, it also undermines the effectiveness of the entire US national security apparatus at an extremely sensitive time when we face complex challenges involving North Korea, Iran, Russia and many other issues.

DJT is busily filling the swamp rather than draining it as he had promised. John Bolton will likely alienate the rest of the world that Trump has not done already.

IMO Trump has humiliated & undermined pretty much everyone at some point; why stop now?

As for John Bolton; he just wants to go around the planet bombing any **** that moves but personally I hope he gets the job.
That way Bolton can eventually be humiliated & undermined by Trump ...........

Well the moustache might tickle Trump enough for him to keep Bolton on

I might think that appointing uber-neocon Bolton would alienate many Trump supporters.
Unfortunately, I'm certain that nothing Trump does will alienate the true-believers.

This is just the kind of snarky nonsensical headline I would expect out of CNN.
