Cult45 wants us to believe in some vast liberal conspiracy. That the top members of the FBI are involved in this conspiracy, or perhaps another one and yet for some reason they can't take down the Presidency. Still. Yet...:

McCabe - Republican
Comey - Republican
Mueller - Republican
Rosenstein - Republican

These Republicans are NOT part of some vast left win conspiracy. The excuses used for the firings of both Comey and McCabe allude to various "crimes," that the cult believes were done by these men. Those "crimes," if they can be called that were all actually analyzed later to be generally damaging more to the Clinton campaign itself, not the Trump campaign. Shadowy and mysterious leaks notwithstanding.

Analysts widely cite Comey's back and forth of re-opening the Clinton Investigation as one of the things that threw the election in Trump's favor. Once that happened, I knew Trump had a winning chance. Seemingly, Trump didn't like how corrupt McCabe's wife seemed, but how exactly would that have hurt the GOP in the long run?? In fact because that money is tied to Democrats, it would hurt the Dems more if McCabe would have stayed on. Especially since in the older days GOP could have just spun that as "Big Gov Dems rewarding their inside man."

Not to mention that Trump gave money to the very foundation that is central in all of this little drama.
I'm not exactly sure where Trump fits into this story, but it's funny seeing the same people who think that the same FBI is hiding around every corner and looking at all their information online have so much trouble taking down and stopping Trump. I find it funny that Republicans are essentially sticking up for the Clinton Foundation while Trump fires the people who were looking into it...

Make no mistake, Trump thinks these people are out to get him, and so he fires them. The truth is just the opposite.

Well since all four of those guys are republicans, that means they are all racists and Nazis and Klansmen and homophobes and misogynists and every other vile form of humanity imaginable, so why is it so inconceivable that they would be corrupt apparatchiks too?

Most (all?) of the NeverTrump persuasion were also republicant, so brand loyalty does not necessarily translate to favoring Trump. You also have to remember that the odds of Trump winning in 2016 were not said to be good. That alone is just cause to take it easy on Hillary should (when?) she became the new POTUS.

As far as a serious (aggressive?) crackdown on pay to play schemes, I would expect quite a few of our swamp dwellers to not be so keen on that idea.

Apparently in 2016 Mr. Comey became an "Independent" and no longer listed as a Republican. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Comey

As proven by McCabe's willingness to leak anything and everything (according to the OPR and IG investigation), he was no Trump supporter either.

During the primary campaign, right up until Trump was the final choice, all sorts of Republicans, including most of the major players both in government and out, opposed Trump's candidacy.

It was arguably that very opposition that helped him win grass roots support for the nomination.

Only Fletch could prop up such a weak strawman and fail to even knock it down.

Perhaps, but most Republicans swallowed their pride in the end, and became Trump supporters.

Trump and his WH would be at the very center of such a crackdown, so that probably wouldn't be such a good idea.

Way to completely and utterly, miss the point of the OP.

Trump has accused the FBI of being in a conspiracy against his campaign. Such a notion is absurd because almost all of the people overseeing these investigations and bodies, are actually out in the open Republicans, that have also led extensive probes of Democrats like the Clinton's.

Trump was a thumb in the eue to both repubs and dems alike. He ran as the anti-establishment candidate. He beats the repubs in their primary and then beat the dems in the general. Both partirs hate him. We had many in the republican party openly stating they rather have clinton than him as our potus.

Is the FNN not giving you any real news?
Just some general questions to get a baseline, see if we can get a political pulse.

Are you aware to any degree :

1. of the massive amounts leaks going against Team Trump TT from the beginning?

2. that Dir. Comey overstepped his Investigatory bounds and let Hrc off the hook for quantitative (minimum 33K emails deleted, bleacbitted, this after subpoena) and qualitative ( the highest class of secret on her already illegal unsecure private you arent allowed to have one of these server)?

3. Familiar with the love birds Strzok n Page ramming, slamming dirty talking each other, worse, dirty talking Trump...well, that Strzok...were you aware Strzok helped Comey change, before even interviewing Hrc and 16 witness, redraftng the original Comey exoneration letter changing the indictable language for things everybody, even you, would agree mean the exact same thing.

No way a grand jury, based on the law, doesnt indict Hrc.

4. Intent under the statute is unnecessary. Never called a grand jury, did not allow the DOJ to do their job, Lynch stepping back because the bad karmic tarmac meeting with BJ talking "grandchildren", you know, right before her FBI interview

No use going much further before knowing you are up to speed on all that. But you do know Comey, after fired, did at minimum, break FBI policy and more likely the law, but in any event, Comey leaked classified stolen material ( US GOV property ) in an effort get a special counsel, his buddy the mule Mueller, appointed?

Are you aware of what is known as the " salacious and unverified ( as per Comey under oath after the firing. ) "Trump dossier? Yes. It does start to get rather complicated...

Then theres the whole #4, Bruce Ohr whose wife works at GPS, and just coincidentally, being some sort of Russian expert working at Fusian GPS with Steele (former Brit intel), #4 at DOJ who talks with Steele. Rosenstein, 4 doors up from Ohr, at DOJ has known the Clintons since he worked with Ken Starr on Whitewater. Something I just picked up on is Rosenstein's wife, Lisa Barsoomian...US Attorney that graduated from Georgetown Law... a protege of James Comey and Robert Muller. Barsoomian with her boss R Craig Lawrence represented Bill Clinton in 1998 Lawrence also represented Robert Mueller three times, James Comey five times, Barack Obama 45 times, Kathleen Sebelius 56 times, Bill Clinton 40 times and Hillary Clinton 17 times between 1998 and 2017 Barsoomian herself represented the FBI at least five times...so kinda cozy to say the least.

Anyway, havent even gotten into McCabe, his mishandling of the Clinton email scandal, his doctoring the 302s, notes taken during the unrecorded interviews of Hrc, Huma, Jarret, etc, his lying in questioning for which he was subsequently fired. McCabe, Rosenstein, too, signed off on the "salacious and unverified" Trump dossier, vouching for its dubious veracity, as per Comey testimony under oath in June. Comey thereby indicting himself as he had already signed off using this unverified dossier...oh yeah, almost forgot to tell ya that this was a bought and paid millions for opposition research for Trump opponent, Hrc. Yeah, I finally remembered to tell you, but the FBI somehow never remembered to tell that to the FISA judge... I wouldnt think it would make much difference, tho, being a hit piece of one presidential candidate againt the other is all, unverified.

McCabe's wife got $750,000 in campaign contributions from bff to the Clintons, Terry Mcaliffe ( who was then, ironically, under FBI investigation for campaign contributions ) and from an Hrc pac...anything not spent, well, you know...

In any event, you look at all that and it doesnt even hint at squirrelly to you, huh?

Lets do a little thought experiment, then...replace any one of those names above with the name Trump...now do you begin to see what we see?

BTW, while its the dems in congress along with a complicit msm giving these US Law Enforcement and intel guys cover, dont get me started on Clapper or Brennan, its the anti trumpers on both sides that have a hard on for the president. I dont assume them to be red or blue, they are more an establishment purple.

Post of the year to date right here above!!! #10

Excellent recounting of the events. I don't think you left anything out, but with so much to see out in the open, hard to argue with.

I think McCabe is going to squeal like a hog stuck with a knife before this is over. Hard to tell what kind of **** storm will be unleashed some time this summer or fall just in time for the mid terms... This could indeed fire up the Republican base, if we think we can see the Clintons brought to justice in a court of Law.

I think it will also make the moderate Democrats realize yet again the utter criminality, of the left. It also exposes them for their Globalist ways we would have endured under a Clinton Presidency bought and paid for by Governments and other than our own. (along with Soros) They will realize just how low the radical left has taken their party, and just stay home come election day...

You have very strong opinions but unfortunately no facts to back them up with and no proof that they were working against Trump or his campaign. I see lots of mentions of Hillary and corruption, but no mention of Trump and his campaign. So you admit that there is no conspiracy against the Trump administration. Cool.

What a frivolous and disingenious post. Pick even one thing I said, and you got plenty of ammunition from which to choose, and prove it factually wrong. You put up zero facts against and cannot deny any claims...sounds like you picked the wrong side of the argument. Or are just too lazy...or both.

Which is it?

Here, I ll help you out. Is it not proven

1. There were many leaks, none going positively for Trump? Supply the ones for Trump if no.
2. Everything in #2 above? Supply factual contradicting material.
3. Everything in # 3 above? Supply factual contradicting material.
4. #4? Supply factual contradicting material.
5. Comey leaked. Supply factual contradicting material if you say he didnt..

We can start with those. Either put up or shut up as they say.

As to your Trump question and the illogic of your last two sentences I would say this... rewrite that so its comprehensible as what you are actually wanting me to give you an answer to and I will strive to comply. I will say that there has been shown some TT prior dealings having not a thing to do with Trump that people should rightfully take a hit on, no doubt...though the Flynn thing is looking more flimsy by the day. Hillary unabashedly broke the law and should have been dragged before a grand jury with the overwhelming evidence of wrongdoing on a massive scale.

If you ignore all that, do you expect any of us to view your posts with any credibility?

I think the generalized mistake is thinking if you are a Republican, you must be pro Trump and if you are a Democrat you are against Trump.

Trump is neither.

Conspiracy theories are standard props for weak minds. The Right would be lost without them.

leak, leak, leak, leak. So what were these leaks that McCabe did? Can you answer specifically.

Many conservatives/republicans have called me a liberal, Democrat. I have more sane conversations w/liberals than I do w/Republicans these days.

Can we get a quack? 'cause that was one helluva duck you got going there, Never. That when I am going to get an answer out of you on all this stuff...never?

In any event, I will try to more than hold up my end, then. Which leaks you talking about? the ones McCabe admitted to in his firing response letter?

Where McCabe said this:

The OIG investigation has focused on information I chose to share with a reporter through my public affairs officer and a legal counselor. As Deputy Director, I was one of only a few people who had the authority to do that. It was not a secret, it took place over several days, and others, including the Director, were aware of the interaction with the reporter. It was the same type of exchange with the media that the Deputy Director oversees several times per week.It was. In fact it was the same type of work that I continued to do under Director Wray, at his request.

You talking about that leak? Where he catches Comey lying about not authorizing any leaks? You know, when FBI Director James Comey said during testimony to the Senate Judiciary Committee that he hasn’t ever leaked information to the media about investigations into Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton.

Never,” Comey said when committee chairman Sen. Chuck Grassley asked him if he’d “ever been an anonymous source in news reports in matters relating to the Trump investigation or the Clinton investigation.”

Grassley then asked if Comey had ever authorized anyone else at the FBI to be an anonymous source on these topics, and he said “no.” When asked if any classified information “relating to President Trump or his associates” had been declassified and shared with journalists, Comey said, “Not to my knowledge.

Ok, what crime should McCabe be charged with? He said everyone knew he talked to the media and that it was not, illegal. I think the FBI knows more about legality than a guy who just complains on twitter about fake memos. You are NOT really helping your cause here and you are just in fact sticking up for dictator-like behavior from this POTUS.

Okay...thats fine if that is actually true, if it complies with policy. Just because McCabe says so, doesnt make it truth, tho. I mean, he WAS ostensibly fired for lying, right?

If telling the truth then his beef is with the OIG...or its with the FBI and the OPR, his beef isnt with what I said.

But that also means Comey lied under oath again. Yano?

Yes. I am that guy on the internet, unlike you, who is making plenty of attackable assertions, backing them up, have stated many verifiable facts that you wont even flaccidly wave a hand at, instesd you just ignore them completely, answered none of my questions...

How do you convince yourself you are right when yu cannot prove me wrong? Doesnt that make you question if you are in the liberal matrix while I keep exposing, showing you the glitches??

And cannot even understand that the guy on the internet is solely conveying what the FBI's own Office of Profrssional Responsibility says are the facts. They, I would hope you would agree, probably know what McCabe was allowed to dp and not...and they have yet to be identified as liars as has been our poor McCabe.

He fudged up royally...nobody wouldve/couldve known, I mean who knew how fortunate it would be for Trump to get elected? For us We the people.

Drain the Swamp, yeah baby...wait til those big ol dreges start rolling in.

There have been questions about the IG Report. Everyone knew what McCabe was doing, and Trump lies on twitter all the time. Yet you think you are exposing some great agenda against Trump when none of this stuff has to do w/Trump.

What are you even talking about?

Is the MSM not reporting the "unverified and salacious"Trump Dossier? That had nothing nothing to do with Trump, you are saying? The insurance plan that Strzok and Page were texting about if Trump got elected, you telling me thats not about Trump either? Okay, what about...Comey leaking, to a professor friend, classified FBI documents about discussions Comey had with Trump so a special counsel could come into existence to investigate the potential of Trump Team collusion was not about Trump either? Really?

Wow. You could knock me over with a feather.
