McCabe Fires Back

He can't

There is undisputed proof that the office he speaks of, is separate from the FBI.

Lol, from the OPR page on the DOJ site:

https://www.justice.gov/opr

The Office of Professional Responsibility, reporting directly to the Attorney General, is responsible for investigating allegations of misconduct involving Department attorneys that relate to the exercise of their authority to investigate, litigate or provide legal advice, as well as allegations of misconduct by law enforcement personnel when related to allegations of attorney misconduct within the jurisdiction of OPR. Learn more.

https://www.justice.gov/opr/about-office-and-opr-policies-and-procedures

The Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR) was established by order of the Attorney General to ensure that Department of Justice (DOJ) attorneys and law enforcement personnel perform their duties in accordance with the highest professional standards expected of the nation’s principal law enforcement agency. Pursuant to 28 C.F.R. § 0.39a, the Counsel for OPR reports directly to the Attorney General and Deputy Attorney General. In addition to the Counsel, OPR is staffed by a Deputy Counsel, three Associate Counsels, and between 20-25 Assistant Counsels.

You gotta lol @ these folks.

Christopher Wray put McCabe on paid leave a while ago after being aware of McCabe's misdeeds incorporated in
the reporting of Michael E. Horowitz the Inspector General of the Department of Justice! Wray new to the position
& not interested in stirring waves perhaps was hoping to give McCabe a three point landing.

I think after the Horowitz reports comes out no one well grounded can come to an opposite conclusion
to the decision that was enforced by Sessions today. McCabe's bombastic flourishes blaming the 'Office of
Professional Responsibilities', Trump or Sessions really has no one to blame but Mrs. Clinton. If she had won
none of this damning evidence would have ever surfaced.
For your sides sake, I hope it goes over better than the popcorn farts by Nunes and Grassely.

That's it?

Are you actually reading this stuff you link us to? It literally is there in black and white that the OPR is a DOJ branch -- Ashton is on there herself.

Keeping wiping egg on your face though.
Apparently you didn't fully read what was provided, either that, or you didn't understand it, and instead of apologizing for lying you are still digging your hole deeper.

Per your Wiki link.

Mary Patrice Brown was named acting head of the office in April 2009.[1] Robin Ashton became the head of the office in 2011[2]

Robin Ashton is still the head of the Justice Departments' OPR.

However, Candice M. Will is listed on the FBI's Leadership & Structure page as the head of the FBI's Office of Professional Responsibility. Not Robin Ashton who is the head of the Justice Department's OPR. Duh!
OPR.jpg

You see that above image? It was provided for those who need pictures to understand.
Do you see who is listed as the head of FBI's OPR? Who's name is listed? Huh?

JFC.

That's the same office at the DOJ, you fool. :doh

AND, she's not heading that office either, she's the assistant director.

Wrong.
That is the FBI's OPR and is headed by Candice M. Will who was appointed by the Director of the FBI Mueller back in 2004.

The Justice Department has their own Office of OPR who is headed Robin Ashton.

And again.

The FBI has their own OPR headed by their own person, just as ICE does, as the IRS does, etc ...

Also again.
What is so ****ing sad here is that the AG pointed out it was the FBI's OPR, the media reported that it was the FBI's OPR, and yet some folks just can't understand there is a reason behind what was said.

JFC.

Lol, we post links to organizational charts in DOJ, people just claim others are wrong.

Did we get to cry "witch hunt!" like the right-wing?

Lets see the evidence that he lied materially (like Flynn, Sessions, Prince, Kushner, etc) to an investigative team.

"The FBI's OPR then reviewed the report and underlying documents and issued a disciplinary proposal recommending the dismissal of Mr. McCabe. Both the OIG and FBI OPR reports concluded that Mr. McCabe had made an unauthorized disclosure to the news media and lacked candor − including under oath − on multiple occasions."

I gave it to you but you won't read it. He lied to the DOJ OIG about his leaking, under oath. It's in the article that I linked. I an only present the evidence. I can't make you read it.

JFC.

That's the same office at the DOJ, you fool. :doh

It's not separate.

It's essentially a franchise that regardless of where you put them, do not report to the leadership of the agency where they are stationed but to other branches of the OPR, and directly to the AG.... in this case Mr. Beauregard himself. Literally, a chart was given explaining the relationship between these organizations.

It is the FBI's OPR and headed by an FBI Assistant contrary to your false claim.
It is McCabe's own people (FBI) as I stated. You are wrong.

It was the FBI's own OPR. Period. Your organizational chart does not prove that wrong.

It's absolutely criminal what Trump has done to the DOJ and FBI.

We've seen a Saturday Night Massacre over the course of eleven months, starting with the firing of Sally Yates, then James Comey, the pressuring of Sessions to open frivolous cases into the Clinton's, the OIG being used to undermine ongoing investigations by the Congress and Special Counsel Office, Nixon style loyalty requests, and now this vindictive firing of McCabe to keep him from his pension.

I can only imagine the howling at the moon and rallies by conservatives if Obama did all of this.

Yeah, riiiiight.

What we are all seeing is a roll up of high level criminals, in actuality some of which reach, undeniably, into treason. Yates was fired for defiance in refusing to follow the lawful, constitutional orders given her by her legally elected boss. Ruled on favorably by the independent SCOTUS. Comey has yet to be charged but we have him dead to rights illegally taking government property, lying under oath and the leaking of classified information.

So, perhaps you need to look up the word frivolous...that not at all describes the reality.

Period. Full stop.

Instead of repeating yourself of others being “wrong” - WHY dont you prove him wrong?

Probably because organizational charts exist and websites can be linked.

Said the one who was already proven wrong by the linked information.

Seriously, the position he was talking about was assistant director, as in NOT the actual director.

Worse yet, it's in reference to the same DOJ office, but he's too foolish to see it.

Nobody has actually seen the report, so unless your the IG, you have no idea yourself.

And from what I read, they are not looking at any criminal proceedings, so this is still speculation. It wouldn't be the first time Republicans about McCabe -- see the Nunes memo.

At this point, we can only call it refusal to understand this structure. The funny thing is that Jeff Sessions kept saying it was the FBI OPR, knowing damn well that all OPR offices directly reports to him in this case or any other per GO 1931-94.II.B. These guys are playing shuffle games and they think we don't see it.

iLOL
Hilarious. Your argument is based in ignorance.
As already shown it is staffed by a FBI Assistant Director, not an Assistant AG.

The Office is the FBI's
The FBI Director appoints Assistant Directors to the Office.
The last one appointed was Candice M. Will.

Candice M. Will was appointed by Director Mueller to be the Assistant Director of the Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR) in August 2004.

FBI Directors appoint to their own Offices.
Just as ICE does, just as the IRS does. Just as the Justice Department does.

Listed on the Right under the Deputy Director.

It is the FBI's OPR.
Period.

Furthermore, this reply of yours is totally nonsensical.

Clearly you do not understand titles within the FBI structure.
In this case it is a title under the Director of the FBI which is who appointed her to that FBI Office

Even granting all the nonsense about whether it was the DOJ or FBI's OPR that was involved, it's still complete bull****.

Those offices do not make recommendations on the employment status of high level officials, nor do they conduct internal investigations of the nature of McCabes. That's something the FBI director, solicitor general, deputy AG, AG, and president decide internally for themselves.

It's another poorly crafted cover story by the Trump WH, just like when they stated Comey's firing was over the emails. Of course, just like in Comey's firing, President Foot In Mouth couldn't restrain himself, and let the cat out of the bag.

That his supporters still haven't learned from history, speaks volumes about their gullibility.

Which we know isn't true because it was the FBI's own Office of Professional Responsibility that recommended the termination.

OK...so the FBI's OPR recommended the termination...but who recommended the investigation on McCabe in the first place?

The OIG looking into leaks?
Possible wrong doing?

iLOL No.

There is nothing to suggest the process was unusual or inappropriate.

What difference does that make? Besides the obvious point you want to make.

Who recommended the investigation on Trump? See, it doesn't matter. What matters is what the results are.

Was reading this today

https://www.washingtonpost.com/worl...77aa4dab9ef_story.html?utm_term=.3a63b202fa37

Bromwich, himself a former Justice Department inspector general, suggested that office treated McCabe unfairly, cleaving from a larger investigation its findings on McCabe and not giving McCabe an adequate chance to respond to the allegations he faced. In his statement, Bromwich said McCabe and his lawyers were given limited access to the inspector general’s draft report late last month, saw a final report and evidence a week ago and were “receiving relevant exculpatory evidence as recently as two days ago.”

“With so much at stake, this process has fallen far short of what Mr. McCabe deserved,” Brom*wich said. “This concerted effort to accelerate the process in order to beat the ticking clock of his scheduled retirement violates any sense of decency and basic principles of fairness.”
