The case that Ahmad Mohamed (Clock Boy) had against the city was dismissed. This has seemed like a ploy to get money to me from the start. The family expected a 15 million dollar payout to avoid a case the city refused. Now the case has been dismissed. Hope the family enjoys a long happy life in Qutar and never return to the US.

I'm glad the father's case was dismissed with prejudice, AND he has to pay the court costs!
What a horrible example for his kids, forever to be known as "clock boy".

Anyone who thought the school failed to act properly by calling the police, arguing the youth had "invented" something which was foolishly mistaken for a bomb, certainly didn't examine the evidence.

All he did was take apart a digital clock and place it in a briefcase...it served no purpose except to look like a suitcase bomb, literally.

The fact that children have been used as suicide bomber's should be kept in mind when judging some reactions.

Meanwhile, false alarms in schools are regularly treated as a crime to be investigated by law enforcement.

Yet he was feted as some juvenile genius who was the victim of islamophobia. :roll:
